The below is from a Pastor in Chicago. Yesterday 5 children were shot in unrelated cases there... 5 children... now while I understand this is a worldwide site I would find it hard to believe that any community..in any country would find this acceptable? Equate those 5 shootings into the community you live in and think of the response you and your neighbors would have.
Yesterday was not abnormal in Chicago. it happens every week. Unfortunately this is now the normal in our urban areas.
And a person is racist for calling it what it is?. Is the Pastor (who is black) racist?
No he's not..he is honest. He is telling the truth.
And it will yet again fall on deaf ears in the black community.

The ages of these shooting victims in Chicago, since noon today, are a girl, 11; a boy, 15; a boy, 16; another boy, 16; and another girl, 17. That's five children shot in less than 24 hours. If this happened in any other community in America, it would be total outrage, and I mean, outrage.

The question that I want to ask is: Where is Black Lives Matter? Where is ... unfortunately, I have to say it, the NAACP? Where are all these organizations that say they support and are committed to Black lives, but when we have five young people shot, no one is saying a word?

the answer is simple,. It doesn’t help to advance their narrative that the United States is full of white supremest’s that hate blacks. This country has done more to help minorities world wide than any other. It was the Republican Party that freed the slaves. It was the democrats( Dixiecrats) that made it illegal for a black man or woman to ride in the front of a bus or eat in most restaurants or lunch counters or even drink from the same water fountain as a white man. Those days are over. But the President being void of any morality’s is clearly trying to divide Americans just to win votes. He knows the damage he has done to his own party and realizes they will be defeated in November. Joe must Go.

No worries....I figured it was some sort of "glitch" that seems to happen on occasion. Perhaps I'm doing something wrong.

Meanwhile, what I wrote earlier that seemed to have disappeared was that I'm curious why most in the African American community continue to vote Democratic when that party really hasn't helped them much. They (Dems) TALK a good game, but that's really about it. I'm pretty sure blacks want what white's do and that is to feel safe in their communities, not have inflation eat at their dollars, not have illegals from far away countries taking their job opportunities, etc... REPUBLICANS are the ones focused on these things while Dems focus on transgender nonsense, voting without an ID, "woke" agendas, and other secondary issues. It's painfully obvious to anyone paying attention.

ok, thanks for saying, I was curious what had got edited on another post earlier today. .. I think one of the reasons blacks vote overwhelmingly for the democrats is tradition handed down from generations . Lyndon Johnson’s ( democrat) administration enacted civil rights laws, which was very popular to most citizens. But these laws didn’t happen without a fight from democrats . Because of the pressure by MLK and the black movement to change the laws set forth against the blacks . The democrats saw the light and gave in…. Also because the message put out by 3/4 of the media keeps demonizing the republicans 24/7. If you keep repeating the same lie people start to believe it.

The answer to why none of the "activists" aren't having rallies and protests in Chicago, and other cities where black people, both kids and adults, are being shot and/or killed seems obvious to me.

Groups like BLM, NAACP leaders, Al Sharpton etc. don't seem interested unless there is monetary gain to be had. They are opportunists, not activists. As the saying goes "just follow the money".

Take Al Sharpton who in 2004 got himself a brand new Rolls Royce Phantom for his 50th birthday. This is the most expensive production car in the world, with a base price of $475,000. I guess he needs to get to his church to preach to his congregation....oh wait, he doesn't have a church or a congregation.

As protests broke out across the country in the name of Black Lives Matter, the group’s co-founder Patrisse Khan-Cullors, went on a real estate buying binge, snagging four high-end homes for $3.2 million in the US alone. It was also reported the self-described Marxist eyed property in the Bahamas at an ultra-exclusive resort where Justin Timberlake and Tiger Woods both have homes.

Then there is Jesse Jackson’s who's net worth in 2022 is $10 million.

your right, if there is no money in it.. they don't show.
Many will say " what a racist thing to say" then prove me wrong
over the last 10 years 1'000's of black people have been murdered in a relatively small area in Chicago. women, children, toddlers, infants too.
some caught in the cross fire of rival gangs but some of these children have been killed to send a message. They were assassinated.
yet, not one BLM protest. not 1 Al Sharpton march not 1 overwhelming call for justice within the black community
So the glaring question is...why
And the obvious answer is that there is no money to be made in it. No one to sue. Chicago, Baltimore, Philly, NYC, Pittsburgh, Detroit, St.Lois, Baton Rouge, ect; ect,ect
All of these areas are Blue run cities. So let's be fair and ask someone from the left
" why does BLM not protest the slaughter of black people in Chicago and other cities ?"
I mean God knows I have been wrong before, maybe I'm seeing it wrong . So what is the rationale behind the lack of focus and corrective action from the black community on this genocide?

yesterday in The Bronx 2 thugs got into a daytime shootout on a crowded street. A mother was holding her 11 month old child as she ran away from the shots being fired
the 11 month old child was shot in the head and today us clinging to life.

What is the common denominator of all these horrible stories we hear about children or the elderly getting shot or assaulted ??? There all in cities run by liberal politicians, soft on criminals and hard on law enforcement. So why does BLM still align themselves with the liberal politicians that talk the talk about reducing crime in the inner city’s but never follow thru with their promises. It’s obvious their policies increase crime . Why can’t the residents s of those cities see what everyone else sees and change the way they vote?

they are liberal cities, blue cities and if they were red cities my comments would not change because wrong....is wrong regardless of race, nationality or religion.
There are web sites up that show the people murdered in Chicago. shows their faces..fills up entire pages. The smiling faces of the little kids is enough to rip your heart out.
Maybe those who will not act , those who turn the other cheek should be made to look at those faces
For the most part we are all parents, many of you ( like me) grandparents to. When do we as a people say " we have had enough " and go in and clean this out once and for all.
How many more have to slaughtered at the hands of ruthless lawless hardened criminals in these urban areas. before we act as a people. How many more old people beaten to the ground for a few dollars.. ( and for some reason in N.YC they beat up old Chinese and Jewish people) The liberal policies in these urban areas have failed..and continue to fail AND these thugs are now empowered by the liberal criminal justice system.
How can anyone look at those faces and say the policies are a success?
Maybe everyone needs to take a look at those kids faces and these cities stop just assigning them a toe tag number

I invite them all to come forward and please tell us why you are for the liberal policies of soft on crime, open borders, victim mentality, etc. Seriously...I want to know as I can't understand the other side. I've tried, often, but cannot get there. Anyone?????

You've all heard our side so now it's your turn "educate" us. I'll keep an open mind to common sense opposing views.
