You just have to be mentally focused and having a positive attitude an thinking. Most important is being stronger an not losing hope..

Life is full of learning and experiments, by which you will get ahead experience...

basically yes. knowing your strengths and weaknesses. not being afraid to try something new. and never accepting defeat.

Work through your issues. Most issues go all the way back to childhood in origin and run our lives from the subconscious. 95% of our days are ran by programs in the subconscious and most of these are negative programs.
So dealing with your issues so these programs lose power.

Apart from that start focusing on your strong suits and develop them further.
Deal with limiting beliefs, thoughts, self-talk, which means first becoming aware of this.

If you find it difficult you can find either a coach to help you or buy a book on working through low self-esteem and building self-confidence.
There are tons of good self help books out there. And coaches too.
