Id rather stay home with my two dogs than go out to bars or wherever people go nowadays to try and find a girl to date!! Seems like all people want to do is try to get whatever they can out of you then just ghost you!!! Make you feel like your Casper !!! At least I know my dogs won't screw me over!!! Ummm I hope they do get a lot of treats now that I think about it!!!! HMMMM!!!!

It doesn't sound wrong at all. I wish I could go back in time and choose my pet cat over a boyfriend. Long story. That was 30 years ago and I still feel guilty.

i agree to all of you. i get stessed if my cats are vomiting or sleep all day or i cant find them. i also have a lot of plants to talk to. Boyfriends are replaceable, not my 3 cats and 3 kittens. Robk2791 is right. After ppol get what they want, they will ghost u or cancel u.

If you meet the right person and she will be content with staying at home play with you and your dogs.

Nope, and I don't think that attitude in life is very healthy either.

Pets are wonderful, I love my own 3 cats dearly. But they're not replacement of human contact, socialising or anything.
Pets are an extra, bring something special to you, your family, and life. But not a replacement of humans and human contact.

Not great to put that much responsibility -your happiness- on a pet either.

If socialising & dating doesn't work out it's better to figure out why that is and work on it. That's called personal growth :)

I'd also rather stay home with my dog Clowdie because I know she will always be there for me in good and bad times. I've met plenty of guys but none stood up and wanted a relationship of any kind they all just wanted what they could get from you to benefit themselves. Clowdie is and will be my best friend so it will have to be a pretty special man out there to have that title in my heart and soul

Nothing wrong with loving your pets, however, meeting the right people in your life is a blessing. Aminals are not People! Get off the internet and go places of interests Many People do not go to bars and places that are not healthy for good relationships.

Internet people some can be cruel because they hid behind a computer or IPhone and you really do not know the Real person anyway. Do not get depressed over the internet! Some young people do not even date off the internet.
