Here's a crazy idea: Why not have a mostly open site here without over censorship? Yes, even sex talk. HOWEVER, make the sexual section somewhat separate and have most of it go there for those that want that.
Meanwhile, this site can then focus its efforts in what its failed to do for years and that is STOP THE SCAMMERS, FAKE PROFILES, ETC ETC. Put at least a TINY bit of effort into it, geesh! Make members put a little bit of "effort" into posting a profile by at least requiring them to answer the few basic questions. I can only surmise they don't dare do anything about the scammers because that makes their "active members" numbers look much higher for advertisers here. No other reason I can think of for the total neglect this site has for this major problem on the site.
Not only is the site SO heavy with scammers/fakes, etc, they are so easy to spot that there is no reason NOT to be able to easily get rid of them IF, IF, IF anyone in management actually cared. They simply don't
Mingle used to allow sex chat but that was canned . I haven’t used the app so not sure if the chat function is still active or what it allows .
Would you pay a fee to support site improvements and hire staff to regulate account activation and Verify members . I wouldn’t !!! Lmao . Mingle is free .
The forum is only used by a very small number of regulars . It is not essential to the Function of the site .
I never knew Mingle used to allow sex chat. Interesting to know.
No, I wouldn't pay for this site as is nor with improvements as it has so far to go to be worthy of payment. Other free sites have their scammers too but they do so much better about managing the scammers. I won't mention their names here but chances are you know of them. Even Craigslist, which is huge and has many scammers, is at least a functional site for its intended purpose of buying things, selling things, etc etc.
I'm not sure about others, but WITHOUT the forum feature, what's left? I'm serious. Few have ever expressed their happiness in the dating/meeting up side of the site. Sure, there are some examples, but that doesn't seem to be the norm nor worth the effort.
Just my opinion (and others who won't say it out loud).
