I remember when I first got here your posts were mind-boggling to me and I began to serious doubt my understanding of English, haha.
But I came to see that it's just your own unique style and I appreciate it but am honest enough to say I don't always get them either.

As for the tone ascending... I believe people in my birth village tend to do that. I've moved away when 10 yrs old, so I don't but it stood out when I revisited as an adult.

Guys with a high pitched voice is also a big no-go for me. My worst date ever had such a voice. I found out when he phoned me as he couldn't find the parking where I was waiting.
I knew right away it wasn't going to work out. The thought of hearing that every day for the rest of my life, can't do it.
If only I hadn't been so polite... I should've gone home without meeting me and save me the experience of meeting the rudest man ever.

I know within the last five years with seeing more dressing different, piercings etc... it is hard not to judge first... And to be honest after getting a trike and riding with groups, I have met some really neat people by putting judging aside and getting to know them first... They are who they are~~

It's like the synapses is happening so fast. If someone were to to say The 80s....while most are thinking big hair and yuppies, I am already at, "Doc, you built a time machine out of a Delorean?"

It's not right or wrong...It is just references an sub-references "skipping" at an accelerated pace.

Yes, usually when someone is explaining something which has moral ambiguity.

Excessively mean and excessively greedy people tend to piss me off.
Since its against the law to just shoot them in the head, I tend to stay away or ignore them.
If that law ever changes, I will need bullets, lots of bullets.

Crystal you first- "Texas Tech" is a University in the town of Lubbock Texas. Also, when Techfairy's name is next to yours, the string of words form something I associate with hippies or characters in The JRR Tolkien - Hobbit books. English not being your first language, it must be SO difficult to read things with too many metaphors and references from a pop culture that may be unfamiliar.....I equate it to mumbling to the hard of hearing. The truth is, your English is better than over half the people I went to school with.

TG3333 - Thanks for the rescue and you dish way too much credit. Any brain teasers are completely accidental. It's hilarious when folks who look like ZZ Top, talk like Minnie Mouse. I know several biker types who look as rough as they come. Then they will say things like, "Toodles" when they are leaving. What's that about?

I loved The Hobbit, but their feet not so much, hihi.
And I am fine with English, it's been part of my life all my adult years. It's part of me. I even write & publish my books in English via a UK publisher, when I coach it's in English etc.
The only thing is that I'm more wired to use/think/speak BrE.
As for English my girlie is the same as she was married to an American for 5 years and lived in the US, and she grew up with a British stepfather.
But unlike me, she's all AmE wired.


In any case, as for what I really don't like, and can't let go of as it's just how I function:
I don't like people that cannot be inspired or motivated.
The type that needs to sit on a therapist's chair for decades and is then still whinging about the same thing.
I'm wired to inspire, to coach, to guide, teach etc. so such people exhaust the crap out of me.
And I don't understand it either.
