I'm quite happy to stay home in NZ

Not any country where women's position is much different than in my own country. Which rules out most countries, hihi. Except for Scandinavian ones I think (not certain).

Not a country that's too culturally different.

Australia will always be in my heart, the same for the UK.
But in essence I wouldn't easily move away from my children.
Meaning I will stay right here.

i think you'll find NZ is very similar but maybe a wee bit laid back..in a good sense but yes, the call of family can be undeniably strong and i'm sure your kids love you ever so much for you being there for them

Possibly, it's what I loved about AUS too -I was in the outback there. It, and the people, had a European feel which I like as that feels like home with the typical AUS vibe added to it.
I lived in -and worked for- an Aboriginal community. Best time of my life!

Indeed children... my daughter is pregnant, my first grandchild. Both my son and daughter live close to me and as it is I'm not willing to move far away from them.
I've had to live without my girl near when she lived in the US for 5 yrs. I was so happy when she came back home!!

I'd still love to move to AUS but only if they join me, hihi.

I’ve lived in several countries and have visited 40+. I would not want to live in a country where they are constantly trying to scam the westerners. It was like that in Egypt. There are a lot of neat things about Egypt but the scamming was excessive. Even at the airport you can’t use the bathroom without two ladies literally lying across the sink and wanting to squirt your soap and hand you the paper towels, after which they will tell you put have to pay them money. Or taxi drivers will drive you really far away from where you told them to take you and when you tell them they’re not going to the right place they pretend like they don’t understand, and then charge you a lot of money to drive you to the correct place. You have no choice because otherwise you’re left out in the twillies where there are no taxis. Or businesses will charge foreigners a different price for things like dog grooming. They’ll quote you one price on the phone and then increase it once you’re there. And you see the locals paying the originally quoted price. I mean, yes, once you catch on you figure out how to deal with it. But I grew so tired of things like that. I left after one year, even though my contract was for two years. However, lots of people love living in Egypt. Several of my old coworkers have been there for years. But it wasn’t for me.

Sure I could live everywhere, as long as I am accepted they way I am.

I am always able to accept any cultural, religious, whatever boundaries, of my host country as well.

I once wanted to visit. Now I couldnt be paid to go there, thanks to laws passed that can make innocent people criminals. All their anti-Biker laws, special jails for Bikers, considering them them criminals. Arresting those traveling 2 or more, to hold for questioning, or even arrest for paraphernalia, that could be papers in locked briefcase in trunk.

The real Biker world is very real and dear to my heart. And places that do what they have, I would never set foot there. Biker for life here, rode 40 years.
