I just left Mark at the airport. There’s a big change in security at the airport now, due to the influx of Russian refugees. Also, flights have skyrocketed. A round-trip flight from Moscow to Almaty used to cost about $400 USD. Now a one-way flight costs just under $9,000 USD.

Hoping the handyman is going to be done with the garage by half past 5.

I never know how he/they (Ukrainians) do it. They don't take breaks, only want one cup of coffee even when working 4-6 hrs. I never see them eat (lunch).
Me's thinking they're tough as nails!

Makes me as a Westerner almost feel guilty. But even if I offer some food or drink they don't want it. They almost react insulted that I even ask.
