FULL MOON in Taurus & TOTAL LUNAR ECLIPSE November 8
CET 12:02
EST approx 6:00

It's a bit longer this time as there are 2 events, so there's more going on.

For a while autumn was held back, but now itโ€™s pushing through.
The autumn colours show that each form and shape changes, that you also change with each process, and that you sometimes can let go so new energy gets more space.
The full Hunterโ€™s moon lets you experience what you want to chase away and what you want to chase after. What can or will you let go of because you donโ€™t need it anymore in the coming period? (Think of a habit, behaviour, assumption etc.) And what do you want to give more space or time the coming period?
Light outside of us is diminishing but inside it is present in all your cells.
There is is a total Lunar eclipse on November 8 which means the moon will slowly become dark and then lighter again.
Symbolically this happens to us as well: emotions and feelings can get a reset the coming period to then slowly but clearly find a new (healthy) way of feeling/experiencing.
Is there a feeling that you have neglected? What acknowledgement does that hidden feeling want? Which way does it deserve right of existence so you will heal?
The theme of the Hunterโ€™s moon โ€œsurvival and transformationโ€ can be applied here.

The moon in Taurus emphasizes all that is of value to you. It is possible that material or property are important or that self-worth is an important theme. Think and feel what makes you feel safer and what you look for as support so you feel more stable in the world.
Make time to strengthen your foundation, build a warm autumn/winter nest. Stability, rest, and safety will be a theme the coming months.

Uranus is at the same degree as the moon. Because this coincides with the lunar eclipse this predicts an unpredictable, changing and innovative time, especially concerning material bases and values.
The influence of the eclipse (especially with a total one) will play a role for months. The uranian influence on the moon indicates there will be (sudden) changes and these can take place a few days before the eclipse.
This can be about your feelings, or laws concerning earthy possessions, news that will stir up things or beginning to see a new lifepath.
In other words, it can be quite turbulent.

The North Node is close to the moon and Uranus. This makes it a karmic full moon and solar eclipse: you can suddenly become aware (Uranus) of a new life mission (North Node) that feels so strong (Moon) that you cannot ignore it.
Detach yourself from a limiting self-image, connect yourself with your full potential and feel which passion want to be lived and experienced!
With a Taurus moon you want to latch on to security & safety, but Uranus helps you look further, to peek around the corner and to see a new path, a beautiful future or option that will liberate you from a limiting life. As if you get out of a coat thatโ€™s too small for you.
Which new direction do you discover?

Thank you for sharing. I had a friend/spiritual mentor(deceased) who utilized the sabian symbols. She tended to focus on the new moon more than the full moon. She sang a chant "New moon, plant a seed and let it grow."

Thanks for posting this, Iโ€™ll be looking forward to seeing it! Hopefully it wonโ€™t be cloudy :cloud: whoa
I didnโ€™t realize it was also going to be an eclipse โ€ฆ. Thatโ€™s really exciting biggrin

Yes, new moons are powerful as well.

Hi Dee!!
Yes, fall is eclipse season, hihi. We just had a partial solar eclipse but we couldn't see it over here where I live. Now the full Lunar eclipse.
I hope to see it as well!
Fingers crossed.

"Survival and Transformation" is very fitting for the state of limbo I'm currently feeling, haha! It's like being stuck on a plateau with this odd feeling that something great/big is about to breakthrough... though you can't quite grasp it yet. But it's there, pushing it's way to the surface.

The moon doesn't rise until 6:38am, I'll miss the peak. But I plan to head to work early so I can watch her rise over the ocean. Hopefully the 50% cloud coverage will be on the Bay side, haha.

Should be interesting, both the moon and sun rise around the same time. The sun rises at 6:33am.

Hi River!! Feeling that is great, a breakthrough, something new :)

I myself am not sure what is going on for me. I don't really feel a breakthrough coming up, but I do notice I am dreaming more and some old stuff (memories) is surfacing quite a lot. Not to the point that they upset me, not at all actually, but it is typical.

I do feel a desire to give another course. Overall I'm doing quite well, feeling good and positive. I've been recording 'shorts' for my YouTube channel daily for over 2 weeks now. Normally I lose interest / forget / feel my commitment dwindling after a short period of time. But right now it seems to be ongoing.

Last year the Taurus full moon & then partial Lunar eclipse caused me great physical grief out of the blue. (I checked my moon journal). So far I'm doing quite okay physically, although my muscles/ligaments/joints are a little more achy than normal.

So all in all I don't really have clear what exactly this moon & eclipse are bringing me.

The one thing that is new is that I'm quite calm and relaxed and very positive even though my daughter got angry & upset with me 2 weeks back and left in a huff. Haven't heard from her since.
Normally when she pulls a stunt like that it affects me for days, weeks. It always hits me to my core. (it's not the first time, when it concerns me she has lots of ups & downs)
But this time it doesn't seem to affect me all that much. Of course I was upset and hurt at first, but it didn't linger really very long. I was able to detach and see that it's not my path and not up to me to sort her problems with the past. It's up to her.
Keeping stable with this going on is a new one for me.
I'm an expert at taking things personally, feeling guilty and/or responsible when I'm not. This time I am not doing that.

Maybe this is what the current energies are bringing me?

That's great Crystal, sounds like some of those core feelings/issues, concerning taking things personally or feeling responsible when you're not, were healed. Or at least removed for the time being so you can focus on other things that serve a higher purpose. Love when that happens! :)

I'm counting two new things for you. Ongoing creativity, as well as not taking things personally. :)

Yes, indeed!
And with not taking things personal, I'm more going inwards, relying on my own inner strength, keep the focus on my path, and feel like I have a stronger foundation. This foundation is me, "I got me" as opposed to latching on to something external.
So with that, the part that came up with "Taurus moon" on foundations and a building a warm nest.

The other part that really resonates is the North Node bit. North Node being your life/Soul purpose and somehow I feel I'm currently going to my True North. Likely because I feel more stable inside right now?
I've been feeling so good & positive of late! Somehow having the garage done up plays a big role in that, however odd it may sound. But I've always been in resistance against living here, thinking "by the time the garage collapses I'll be long gone!" But of late I'm coming to terms and embracing living here. And now investing a lot in my home & hearth, of which the garage is part, makes me feel so good!
It's as if after 10 yrs of living here in resistance I am finally coming home. Only now realising how much I needed this! Again it's a form of inner stability, to feel I'm home here.

There will likely be more upheaval at some point with my daughter to sort it out, but for now I'm fine and if I'm then still feeling this way I will navigate through it quite well I think.

Still doing okay, but earlier today my balance 'slipped' up on me and I had a few seconds of dizziness. Usually if I do have dizziness it's very distant and doesn't really bother me, but this time it was stronger and had me grab hold of my desk in an OMG feeling!

I had planned to go to the crystal shop, an hour's drive, and decided to just not do it. Next week it'll be.
I've been fine since this morning, but I know during full moon energies I am prone to being a wee bit or a helluva lot dizzy, so better wait until the full moon has passed before I go for a longer drive.

Just realised I won't be able to see the Lunar eclipse as it happens in the morning when the moon isn't in view.

And the last I can see from this waxing moon is tonight, provided it isn't cloudy.

Oh silly me... I was looking at the wrong column for the moonrise. I thought it was odd, when I was watching the moon rising last night, that it would be rising at 6:38am in only a couple of days.

It was the moonset time, not the moonrise time, hahaha!
Which is actually great news! That means, provided the clouds don't interfere, I will be able to watch the eclipse over the ocean horizon. At least part of it. The sunrise will interfere with watching the whole event. Those in Mountain and Pacific time zones will have a better chance of viewing the whole eclipse phase.

From what I gather the eclipse should be entirely visible in Florida. The sun rising a li'l later might make it more of a spectacle. But when it rises the moon has already gone below the horizon.

In June 2011 I watched a total Lunar eclipse that began while the sun was still setting. It only added to the colour & magick!

THis is one of the photos we took then:

And this photo too, and it's so weird as I cast a shadow against the background as if I was standing in front of a screen??
And my head seems transparent. The oddest thing. Maybe the camera was still in Magick mode from the eclipse, haha.

Great pictures Crystal!

The sun rises 5 minutes before the moon sets, at 6:33am. Although we will have full view of the eclipse, from the beginning to the full eclipse... the final phase of the eclipse will be difficult to see due to the sunrise, plus the final phase ends at 6:59am, twenty minutes after the moon sets.

But, I think you're right about it possibly being more spectacular in coloring. Being in a area where there's very little light from street lights, etc., will also help. I'll take plenty of photos. :)

Love the photos, Crystal happy love Hope you can post more later! I saw the moon last night, it was just above a big fluffy cloud :cloud: that looked so bright and white. Wish I could have taken a pic of it. Mine never seem to turn out very well. If only I had a high powered telescope with a camera! ohwell If I won that Powerball jackpot I definitely would get one winking laugh

Hopefully Iโ€™ll get to see it tomorrow night during the eclipse! happy

Hi Dee! And thank you :D
I could buy a good camera not that long ago, as in had the money for it. In a way I always wanted to have a good one again. But then decided against it as I don't take that many photos anymore and to spend a few hundred Euros just to take good moon photos is a bit over the top.

As for taking a good photo, I was surprised by my Oppo Reno phone's camera, I had not expected it to work so well with moon photos. Of course I cannot get really close-up as I don't have the most expensive Oppo, but it does have good cameras.
I often can get the darker spots of the moon to show up. But other times I just get a bright white ball, nothing impressive, whilst I'm doing the same thing.
I just take it as it comes. Some are good, others aren't.
The photo above is from June 2011 eclipse, and not taken with a phone. My ex took the shot at the time and he had just bought a really good Canon SLR camera with a good zoom lens.

I saw the moon last nite when it was already quite high up. Very pale whitish moon, very bright!

ANywho, I hope you got to see the eclipse!

Oh I do feel the change now the buildup of full moon energies has gone. Not for the better I must say.
Not that I'm feeling bad now, but I felt chirpier during the buildup.

I got a chance to watch part of the eclipse, very cool. When I went outside the moon was about a quarter into the eclipse. I watched until it's totality. Unfortunately the trees and houses blocked the final stages of the eclipse... I didn't get up early as I intended, so was at home instead of going to the Bayside to watch it over the Bay.
