Per the BBC, 65-year-old sausage magnate Pavel Antov, who's topped Forbes' list of the richest Russian businessmen, was found dead Sunday at a hotel in Rayagada, in the Indian state of Odisha—apparently after a fall out of a window, according to local cops.

His friend Vladimir Budanov, a 61-year-old Russian businessman who'd accompanied him on the trip, had been "discovered unconscious" in his own hotel room, surrounded by wine bottles, per the Daily Beast. He later died at a nearby hospital. Budanov was said by Indian and Russian officials to have died of either a stroke or heart attack. As is often the case in these mysterious Russian deaths, Antov's past included alleged criticism of the Russian government: The BBC reports that in June, he'd reacted to a Russian missile attack on a Kyiv neighborhood, posting on WhatsApp, "It's extremely difficult to call all this anything but terror."

Yes, kind of. Seems to be changing rather quickly for the worse. Just try disparaging a certain race, even with facts, and see how that goes. Or using "bad" words such as "***, stupid, douche, idiot", etc. on yahoo comments, it will be blocked as being too "offensive" for public viewing. And now all this woke nonsense with some wanting special "pronouns" to describe themselves and their made up new sex. It's changing rapidly if people don't stand up for free speech.

Going online is no different then going in public except that you cannot smell the other people. As in public you will come across rude, selfish, obnoxious people along with a few friendly respectable ones. You will see and hear things that you do not want to. It's up to the individual to know where it is safe to go, and how to ignore the things they do not like. Too many people take things way too personal, they also don't realize what they say or do may offend others too.
As far as people having "accidents" or just disappearing, I think it has happened in every country in the world. Has anybody seen Jimmy Hoffa lately? I'm sure there are plenty that people never hear about, and some fish are just too small, or big, to fry.

In Russia, they throw you in prison for reading unapproved literature or for speaking contrary to what the government approves.

Good for Florida! As ridiculous as your statement is, it’s not a bad idea to remove the people spreading lies and nonsense to our school children. Indoctrination of our children should never be accepted. The future of the liberal model of education in this country is clearly visible now with half the kids in this country can not even read on their own grade level. They have no idea what Lincoln is famous for , and they can’t tell you who America fought during the revolutionary war. The Florida state government is the model that all state governments should follow if you truly care more about the people of your state instead of your own political power and aspirations .

No books were banned at the state level in Florida. But that did not stop the liberals ( Randy wiengarten and mark hammel) from putting out a fake list of books banned by gov. DeSantis. You can google it and get the Facts…. Liberals all over our country are pushing educators toward CRT and social training while away from the basic curriculum of reading, writing , and arithmetic . Those policies and the closing of schools during the pandemic have set our standard of education to a unacceptable low and now some of the democrat run cities want to ban advanced classes in high schools to create equity among all students. That policy could only lead to the dumbing down of americas future. But it seems that’s what the democrats want to happen. And president Biden is reassuring that thought every day ….

I don't think that problem is NEARLY as wide-spread as you're claiming it to be. Talk to actual teachers and ask if this is happening in their school. Ask them if they have some sort of agenda to "indoctrinate" kids. I've never heard first hand of any teacher doing this stuff. We're just trying to get by, man. Just trying to teach our kids. The vast majority of teachers try to keep things neutral as much as possible, and we stick to school guidelines on what our administrators say we should teach. Why would we go out of our way to upset parents or get in trouble with our school administration? Teachers are under enormous pressure to get their students to the point where they perform well on standardized tests. Do you really think they're going to move "away from the basics of reading, writing and arithmetic" just so they can push their own agenda? That's crazy talk. It's just not this huge problem that DeSantis is trying to make it out to be. There are far bigger problems in the education system. I think Florida is going to have a very difficult time attracting new teachers because of this kind of thing being spread around. I'm moving back to the US next year, and I'll be teaching in public schools. I would never work in Florida.

Im not blaming the teachers , the majority of teachers do care about the education of children and bless you for wanting to teach. My problem is with the teachers unions and the liberals agenda to demoralize one group over the other as racist . Just look at the test scores of students in states or cities run by democrats and compare them to other states that reject the CRT curriculum. The latter mentioned have much better scores. .. Maybe you made your choice to not teach in Florida because the other states need your valuable help much more than Florida does. Florida is on the right track to produce quality educations to succeed america. Some states are only interested in producing activists through their education system . i.e. louden county Va. is one that we here about all the time with their perverted gender policies. Let a boy be a boy and a girl be a girl . It’s no business of anybody except the parents to discuss such touchy subjects as a child’s confusion about their gender. It’s time to defund these woke culture school boards and return to teaching children to be open minded and accepting of others opinions. More and more parents are turning away from public schools and turning to either home schooling or charter schools because of the wokeness and poor performance of a public school education. No teacher is going to admit they are indoctrinating kids if they want to keep their job, especially if that is the school boards agenda…. More people are leaving the blue ( democrat) states for a much better quality of life in the red ( Republican) states than at any other time in our history. There are many reasons why people are choosing to turn their backs on the Democratic Party. Education is just one of those reasons.
