shame these dating apps are being used more often than not, can't we go back to meeting someone in person at a pub or wherever?

Humm nothing is stopping you from going to those places and meeting others..

Why is it a shame? It's not like you use the app, never meet and you live happily ever after.

There are numerous ways to meet someone and start a relationship. Dating apps are just one. However, you should most definitely go meet someone in person if that's what you're most comfortable doing. Makes no sense for you to be here if you find this method frustrating. Only do things that bring you joy! Go forth and be happy!
