Really? I’ve never heard of them. How long have they been around? What style of music are they and what songs do they sing?

If it is Texas from Glasgow he’s talking about then they are an alternative rock band who have been around for over 3 decades.

Not my cup of tea but they are very popular in Scotland.

Funny to name a band from a state, in which I live in, when you live in another country. They’ve been around for 30 years so they are good over there and make enough to stay together for popularity reasons. Some groups and solo artist from the USA are that way if they lose their popularity here they move to another country where they are and know they can make the money off that to stay together.
