I don’t get it. Somebody please help me figure this joke out.

Noddy is an animated character in a kids story book... if I remember correctly , and this goes back to the 50s, he had a good friend who went by the name Big Ears ...the setting was in Toyland ....and all the characters lived and played around in an innocent setting ....
I guess the joke implied that Noddy muff dived on the mule ... so was banished from Toyland .... that's my understanding of this joke .
Other versions can be shared ... cause I maybe of base .... o normally am

Sorry for the double post. My internet was screwy at the time.

Noddy books were banned in Australia many years ago because one on the books started with the words "Noddy woke up one morning feeling a little queer".

The Australians have no room to complain.

I have heard that there was an Australian who spent a whole night in Sydney.

Being that these cartoons took place way before my time and I was born in America I grew up watching Looney Tunes, Tom and Jerry, Popeye and Tex Avery.

Yeah .. and Cinderella spent the night with the 7 dwarfs, while Donald Duck diddled Daisy ....
