it has all day said i have Mail New 1
and i dont have any mail that is unread
how do i get rid of it

Check back your last message. It may be that the person sent you another message whilst you were reading the original one or whilst you were replying as this shows as a new message.

Thanks, done all that.. re looked at all messages, all read
it still shows 1 unread message in orange but you cant click on it
strange....

It could perhaps also mean that someone sent you a message then immediately deactivated.

It's just probably a Nudge .... check the nudge located in the extreme right hand corner on top !!!

The same thing happened to me a year ago and the only way I got rid of the notification was by deleting my messages. It took hours as I had over 50 pages to work through but it did work.

I have messages galore ... says sponsored.... with no way to get rid of them too .... I don't wanna open them in case of viruses etc .... I too messaged The M2 higher up ... this was over a year ago... situation has not been resolved to date .... but I have moved on ... ha ha !!!
