Tossing bottles of thoughts watching as some of them break against the crashing rocks and sea carrying with them little shattered pieces of me. Polished one day sea glass on a shelf sitting in a child's room dreaming of not being alone the child's cat snuggles close the warm wind tugs playfully at the window curtains like a ghost. Sunlight streams in making rainbows on a prism. Slanting like treasured memories.

Bills were passed and extension were changed
Adjustments to the law that never remains the same
The people stood tall and rattled there chains
For yesterday's already gone
And tomorrow will never be the same
The bravest pushed on through all the mud
And all the pain
As there oppressor raged another adjustment must be made.
Another adjustment to the law that never remains the same
So there oppressors can rage on
That's why we put them in there chains.
