Reason I'm asking,is that some of the men that message me,are either too young or too far away ! I clearly stated an age range and distance from where I live. I've had 3 messages,
1st ....gentleman too young and not in the USA.
2nd . Lives on the east coast, I live in California.... go figure!
3rd lives in California but is 4 hours away.
I joined this dating site, with the hope of meeting someone!!! Not to have a hookup, or travel long distances....it isnt going to work,yes I would love to have a genuine long term relationship with someone, but that isnt going to happen if you're too far away. Where have all the genuine gentlemen gone ..?.who actually bother to read, what you're looking for....

Most people contacting you don't bother to read a profile. Some of them are fed up with writing to inactive people, and will wait to hear back before opening up. That first approach is indistinguishable from scammers, Their profile and second contact will tell you whether to block and move on or whether you have a genuine interest.

I’ve had that problem of men not reading my profile. When they asks me questions I ask them “have you read my profile?” They answer “no” of course because most of your questions about me you can find your answers there.

It's a free international site. Delete, block, report, or ignore and get on with life.

LOL like that works. Must be why I get matches from women 2000 miles away and 18 years old

When someone asks a question that is info in my profile and I ask if they read my profile, they usually say yes. Then, they just sound stupid.

Don't have enough time to read the profile...it's the era of speed

I personally read every word.

They never do

Not everyone on a dating site is looking for a long term relationship, when they don't read your profile see it as a 'Red Flag' and move on in my opinion.
