YESSS! I just treated myself to a larger filbert brush! I've wanted one for several years but these things are so darned expensive.
And now I found a shop that sells the size I wanted $20 cheaper than my regular art shop. I could not resist!

Normally they sent out orders on a Tuesday, which makes sense if it concerns frames they have to make or large orders. But one brush??
So I phoned them :p
They had 1 brush left in stock of that size and they will ship it today!
YEEHAAA!
Good thing I called them :)
With a bit of luck it gets here on the morrow!

Feeling good! ----> I started a new canvas today!
Just background work and bringing in the underpaint of the subject, but at least I got to use brushes, haha.
Took me a couple hours to get my sketch sorted but then draw it on the canvas, then... brushes and actually doing something!

Subject needs a 2nd layer of underpaint, after that I can finally get going with the real work.
Not gonna be today, maybe on the morrow :D

Fresh & fruity after a shower and only 10 to 1 so plenty of time to work on my painting this afternoon.

Feel kinda disappointed.
Was talking to a match on here , for a week or so . The conversation was getting hot and heavy. I decided to take the leap of faith and ask for a meet and greet over a coffee. She suggested we meet half way, as we were two hour drive apart.. Great . Then she wanted a latest picture of me and I naturally suggested the same. Pictures exchanged.
Met up at the Cafe ..
Absolutely NO spark or Chemistry... like her whole persona did not match the banter we had on messaging....
live and learn ....next !!!

I hope she's not going to be upset that you talk about your date openly in the forums...
Not very gentlemanly to do that...

And a good thing you met up to find out :)
Also, maybe next time don't get into hot conversation, no matter how difficult this may be for a guy.
More important to find out if you click and connect when talking about normal things.
