I need a one girlfriend

A sense of deja vu...it was today in 1967 that our Toronto Maple Leafs won the Stanley Cup...for the last time.....defeating the Montreal Canadians, who went on to win it many more times over the years(lost count)..
We are in the longest Cup drought till date .

Feeling... mildly stressed. Busy sewing the strip of shirring elastic on my dress and dang, it ain't easy!
There's already shirring elastic on the dress which is the reason it's so difficult. But that elastic isn't strong enough, the strip I want to sew on has way more resistance.

And I miss my good ole Husqvarna sewing machine that I was so accustomed to.
I'll get there but I've been cussing a lot so far, hihi.

Feeling crappy , especially after losing all my money at the race track and later on at the slots in the casino ..

That's easily sorted, Slim: just don't gamble!!


Feeling... ermm... mixed feelings. Happy I got the strip of elastic on the dress, but my head & neck are letting me know they are not impressed with me sitting bent over.
I actually need to sew a 2nd strip on but that's gonna be for tomorrow. Going to enjoy the evening now :)

How I feel like I've been put through the wringer..

After all the yard work and then getting out today.. I'm feeling a nap coming on within the near future..

Life is a gamble....have fun while you can ...win some lose some ..

OT: feeling right now like I had quite a good weekend ....even though its still cold out there..

Feeling... okay, just having had my tea and now sipping coffee :)

Excited.


And, most importantly I have my first (first) love back in my life. I am back in the theatre and on stage for a Christmas musical. I had an audition yesterday and scored a principal role on the spot.
