Scared. Worried. Heartbroken. My son has multiple vertebrae fractures. His pain is not controlled. We are headed to Nortons Hospital in Louisville to see a pedatric Neurosurgeon. Prayers for him would be appreciated.

He has a fracture in L1 and in T10 also muscle injury. Not as bad as we initially were thinking. No surgery at this point. We are waiting for him to be fitted for a back brace. They have a plan for pain management and he will be returning for at least 2 follow up visits.
They gave him something for his pain and he was finally able to relax. He even had a short nap.
Mentally the kid is drained. Me too.
