Really need the Whambulance today. My mom and I got Covid on our Disney cruise. We are both very sick and I'm really worried about her especially. Now I'm in New Orleans, but I've seen none of it because I'm quarantining in a hotel room. I have been sick for nearly a week and don't want to leave the bed. I feel like dookey.

I was so excited thinking I had an entire row on this plane all to myself. Then at the last second, a tardy couple came and sat next to me, and my hopes were dashed.

You mean you couldn't say, "Sorry, but you two are late. Please find other seats."?

I got my nails done yesterday (gel) and one has already chipped. tears

The nail techs don't give you a small bottle of "touch-up color", like buying touch-up auto paint?

Hi Bonnie .. is that your first covid infection ? Hope both you and your mum are coping and taking it easy . Rest is really important to help minimise risks of long covid . Not much fun isolating in a hotel and having to put your plans on hold . Hope you get better soon xox

I am starting to improve! So happy to finally be moving past it.

Hi Blondey! Yes, first Covid infection for both my mom and me. We both have other health factors that probably left us susceptible to a bit stronger case than most of the others on our cruise are reporting. But I'm just grateful that we are both starting to feel better. I was really worried about my mom. It's going to take her some time to recover.

Bonnie, how is your mom doing? Glad to shear youre feeling better.

I have a friend and her husband both have Covid. Both immune systems are compromised. Hes better. Shes still bed bound. Said it feels as if electricity is running thru her body. Legs and arms feel numb. The hospital released her last week.

So grateful TheKid still wears a mask at work.

Just went grocery shopping. It's unbelievable how much food is. And I forgot a couple of things, darn it.

Yes! It's always a shock for me when I come back to the U.S. A combo at Taco Bell (3 tacos and a large soda) is $14.95 in Massachusetts! YIKES. I remember when they were under $5, and it was not that long ago.

I know one or two people, who wouldn't even blink at the high prices of meals in restaurants these days. Some of them are like "Oh look, I can buy two cheeseburgers for £12", and I'm just stood there thinking "What a gullible person buying into these co-ercive expensive deals". It's not good.

The weather peeps are wrong AGAIN. Predicting three days of rain starting tonight.. It started this morning, so much for my plans outside.

This day and age how can they be 12 hrs off, they predicted it last night on the 10pm news.

Because they're using their Cray supercomputers to mine for bitcoins instead of weather predictions :crystal_ball:
