A Gray Life
I’ve struggled for years, with life being grey.
Because the one I’d once loved, had thrown me away.
Feelings of confusion, who was the one to betray.
But she had left, my life now in disarray.

I walk through life alone, feeling like a castaway.
Decades of memories, I cry as my mind goes into replay.
Looking and searching, wanting to find one I pray.
For I did not want, death to come being a stray.

I'm looking, for that falling star in the milky way.
Waiting to make my wish, so bright will be her ray.
I can only hope that my wish may come someday.
Having one close to me, one dedicated and forever stay

Life Keeps Turning
The man had made, his big turn in life alone.
A smaller turn is due, he feels it in his bones.
But yet once again, will is turn be alone.
So, he sits and waits, staring in his phone.

He looks then sees, the turns of others.
Some before some after, but yet another
For he is not alone, he knows of others.
Can one of these turns, be a potential lover?

He sees many, their turn coming due.
Dreams of some, but their turns are few.
He likes another, but his turn will not due.
Maybe the one, where I’m one new.

But he sees two, both know my feeling.
For they as well, have past that ceiling.
That special one, I have this feeling.
Let’s share our turns, help me with my healing.

Those that are here.
For those of you here, only one thing that I seek.
I write and write, but still, no-one will speak.
Not a message nor post, not even a critique.
Truly it can’t be, because of my physique.
I’m using my brain, yes that’s my technique.
Hope they all know, that I’m just being sleek.
Just because I’m here, does not make me a freak.
If anything, dear, I’m more like a geek.
So, one more time, it’s your interest I peek.
If I had just one, the world can be less bleak.
Give me a chance, let me kiss your cheek.
For I want to know, if it makes you weak.
Then invite me in, I’m sure you would shriek.
