2 people I've spoken with now claim to have deactivated their accounts. Yet they appear online sometimes. And I can send message in app, without that account inactive message showing up.

Is this possible or are they lying?

Once a member has deactivated their Account there is no way to see it online..

You will still see their post in the forums if they posted but you will not be able to reach their profile to look at it..

Instead you will get a message saying so in so has Deactivated..

Only way you can go to their profile is if they actually log back in and Re-activate their profile..

Then when they log out if they Deactivate again then you will not be able to even see their profile... nor will you be able to email them.. You will get a message saying your e-mail was not sent..

Many members instead of logging out they Deactivate their account so they don't get any e-mails..
