Posting links in the forums does not support secure links, while the rest of the Internet has moved to secure, encrypted browsing, using https://, instead of http://.
Referring to the BB Codes page at https://mingle2.com/topic/199646, if I use that link it breaks and becomes unusable. I used it here to show how it's broken: It goes to "http:https//mingle2.com/topic/199646" (notice the extra "http//" missing a colon)
In order to get it to work, we have to strip out the "s" from "https://" and then it works. I think the target web server transforms the request from "http://" to "https://", but this is still messy and anybody posting a link has to take the extra step to remove the "s". Also, I don't see this documented anywhere, especially not the BBcodes post in the Help section.
