I saw a reel where Larry King ask Katt Williams "what is the worst advice you have ever been given?" His response was "Don't ever change" it's very common advice given and as innocent as it is it's also so destructive. We have to change to grow.

The worst advice- Follow Your Heart.

hearts are deceitful above all things. They trick us. They tell us that we should have what we want but fail to warn us of the consequences of that path. They show us a distorted view of reality and blind us to the truth.

The Best Advice- Follow Jesus

Only God knows what is truly best for our lives. We cannot see the whole picture, and we cannot see His master plan. When we blindly follow our heart, we can easily step outside of His perfect plan. And while we think we’re providing a great future for ourselves, we could be missing out on something much more incredible than we could even imagine.

Lol it seems like sound advice. Would be incredibly hard for me to follow. I have fat thighs hard to get the knees that close!

Don't know about worst advice.
Best advice:
- You need to have boundaries.
That really make me think and realise I didn't have any when it came to love.

Another great one that has helped me a lot when I first started dating after breakup:
- make a list of what you want in a relationship & partner
- go over said list and delete everything that's based on old stuff (from exes, projections, old pain etc)
- go over what's left over (likely not much) and check everything you yourself don't yet embody.

Then you know what you have to work on to become a match for the partner & relationship you want.

Best Advice ~ Never cry before anyone but if you feel like crying, just cry before God for HE alone can understand you in the best way and you can feel an inner peace after that :innocent:

Worst Advice - Even if you are aware that someone has done emotional blackmailing to you or has betrayed your trust in several ways, sometimes you will tend to accept the kindness from them when they care for you.
BEWARE of the trap 🤪 Get hit again and fall down OR sit back n enjoy the show :grin:

The late Foster Friess must somehow heard your mother’s advice, and then in 2012 TV interview at the age of 71, jokingly relayed it to the gals of America. :grin:
