Why do some women lie about their Body type?

A Few extra pounds.

Then they turn up on a date looking big enough to Kick Start Jumbo Jets at Heathrow Airport. laugh

Maybe because the vast majority aren't even genuine profiles? Too many fakes and scammers here.

This makes sense. They may be in self-denial of their unhealthy weight, or they may not want to be labeled as obese.

Pictures and video chat can help you have a better idea of size and save you the in person awkwardness.

If it's a big deal just flat out ask them their weight range.

Perhaps it's a world view/ semantics

The data is 5 years old, but I can't imagine it got better since....but truth is - most of america is fat.

For women:

27.5% is overweight
30.4% are obese
11.5% are severely obese

I'm assuming that the obese ones are simply putting themselves in the category of overweight and the severely obese are probably putting themselves in the obese.

I think it's a little bit denial, little bit ignorance on how the categories are defined and a little bit looking at their peers and using them as a yard stick.

I've been "heavy set" most my life. I've never been with a man who complained about my body (I figure they shouldn't be with me if it's a problem for them) I always felt insecure about myself. I never lie about my weight but I only send a body picture after I know they're ok with dating plus size.
Ultimately though it really does come down to health. In my younger years doctors told me I was healthy as I get old I'm having weight related health problems. It isnt fair to start a relationship when I'm not healthy. I don't want to be a burden to someone I love when I can change that.

That Happen to a Man I met inperson. He had that experience but still paid for her meal at a restaurant where they Met inperson. He treated her nice but when they departed he made it known there would Not be another meeting.

She told him, that's ok because she likes taller Men with a Muscular body build.
