(Negativity however only serves to darken spirits)

Hey guys, I just found this fabulous site and drafted my profile- I’m never sure if it’s worded correctly or says something positive

I also never really know what pics to include as I am one of those people who hates having their pictures taken

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated

Over all it looks good. You have have some fun photos showing some of your personality it looks like. Your words describe some of your inner thoughts and some of your likes.

Comes across as someone who is not really shy and is all positive from what I read into it.

Best of luck in your search!

It's a pretty good profile. It makes you seem somewhat wild and energetic, and the text rambles a bit. Maybe you could clean it up a bit. Add some white space--break it into paragraphs.

The photos are mostly clear and show your face well. They also seem to be from different time periods, where you main photo seems to be an old photo that you like, and it's difficult to place the others--they look so different. Almost like they're sisters.

So, it seems that you have an interesting personality and a disjointed writing style, but you clearly put work into your profile, but reading through that is a bit hard to follow. Maybe I'd TOTALLY get it if I were Canadian and that much into lacrosse, but alas, for the weird/jumbled blurb and the odd collection of photos, I'd only rate it 8/10.

Good luck!

Mortman, don’t speak if unwilling to lit

Although not addressed to me, I'm wondering if there is a "get" missing between "to" and "lit"!

I don't understand the statement either. Was "unwilling to lit" the result of auto-correct? Please elaborate.

It could be cute and a tad funny, but then you have to clean it up a bit.
It's a solid block of text and as such difficult to read especially since you jump from one thing to the next.
Start a new line when you do that by using paragraphs.

Don't use so many emojis. A mere few can enhance, too many make it look chaotic and almost childish.

This for instance:
"...everything upon which I muse then becomes my own personal spark for :innocent:🤣:smirk::heart:)"

What the hell does that mean?
Personal spark for what? Using emojis instead of a word/phrase in your profile text is not handy. In chat when you know someone, okay. Not in your profile.

Lastly... get a different profile photo, this one isn't great, and only have photos uploaded that are recent.
If the first few without glasses aren't recent don't have them up on your profile.

Some time ago it has become impossible to make paragraphs in the profile's About section.

True....just another example of the backwards thinking of this site. I mean, come on, WHY make things even worse??!!! How about a few minor IMPROVEMENTS for once?

Weird. when I view profiles in the app, the line breaks appear correctly, but not when viewed in the web page. Viewed on the web, all the profile's paragraphs appear as one big paragraph, without the line breaks.

I guess Mingle2 needs to hire a PHP developer to fix that.
