True but there are real people too who participate in forums and real ones who don't have an awareness of the existence of forums..Patience is needed in getting to know them!
There are few apps too which concentrate on building conversations first and you could decide on dating later when there's a magic in the bonding..Explore them too!
Ideally, it's better not to start the chats with a goal to start a sweet relationship but a goal to understand the person and know if they would be able to understand you and stand beside you in both happiness/problems.
Most of them nowadays say love but they run away leaving you abruptly in the middle when they/you have problems. Reliability, understanding and a responsibility to stand beside in both ends of the problems is important. Consider these factors too!
