I happen to have a completely different perspective on respect

I was raised to show respect to everyone

In the event that someone does something which I cannot tolerate then I begin to lose respect for them, but I still continue to show respect as much as possible.

I don’t understand why so many people nowadays have that attitude of respect is earned’

Actually I feel that this is a symptom of our society’s decline towards insensitivity and disrespect

But anyway I continue in the old fashioned manners I was brought up with
