I saw where, in the UK, one of the original electric guitars George Harrison of The Beatles used is going up for auction and it could fetch up to $800,000 (I’m not sure how much that is in British pounds).

The earliest known Country recording has been discovered. The song “Thompson old gray mule” by Louis Vasnier. The song would be re-recorded by hillbilly masters Uncle Dave Macon and Riley Puckett.

More than 3,000 counterfeit Gibson guitars seized at the Los Angeles-Long Beach Seaport. Gibson was founded in 1894 and is Nashville based. The guitars are made there and Bozeman Montana. The fake guitars came from Asia.
