A long time ago. If a president and Vice p. was ever caught committing Treason. They would instantly get the death penalty.

I'd still oppose the death penalty. Even for Trump.

Washington political classes only get slapped on the wrist regardless of how heinous their crimes are. Americans seem afraid to reform the system or operate within the frame of constitutional law. People are screaming for congressional term limits and it is already built in the framework of the US. Term limits is just the lazy man's way of not going out and voting. Don't like our congressional leaders vote them out.

Humm, well since 1847 only 2 people have received the death penalty after being convicted for Treason.

Actually one can still get the Death Penalty if proven Guilty. But that would have to be pretty extreme cases...

Changing the subject is what they do when they don't like the topic. Trump is clearly the criminal being discussed, and yet Toodygirl5 wants to bring up an old story from 2020. She's posted that link before, too. Funny thing is that Biden wasn't the president back when that happened--he only got into office in 2021. So why was Bill Barr blocking investigation into Hunter's laptop? Maybe it would've led back to Trump. Trump is such a criminal. Such a stupid, stupid criminal.
