Unfortunately, when a Senate Republican tried to have the files released with full transparency, the resolution was blocked by Senate Democrats a while ago.

Not quite the same. Senator Mullin's request for unanimous consent was rejected -- possibly going too far. Grand Jury material is always highly classified, where all parties are prohibited by law of ever discussing the proceedings even years afterward.

And if Republicans wanted "full transparency", then why are they blocking it in every other vote?
