Lustful Darkness

I want
even in the absence of need
I want

I want
to feel my soul
drowning
in the lustful darkness
of midnight
when the light
that showers me
is the one
amongst a billion stars

You
us
this
I cannot define it
this moment
where nothing makes sense
and yet
like time drifting into eternity
I find myself
drifting
deeper
and deeper
into you
as if the intentions of forever
is merely now
dressed as tomorrow
without ever leaving tonight

I want
the gentle torment
of the fire
burning
us slowly
as our rhythm
discover
new ways
to keep the flame alive
as I give in
to the idea of knowing
I now need forever
