IMDb gives this a 6.5.. I'd up that to a 7.. Galitzine isn't the greatest of actors and as a lead, less so but it was watchable due to the action scenes.

I'd seen it before but couldn't remember the ending. Certainly worth the watch and the re-watch.

Another time loop movie. Had seen this before as well but couldn't recall it and it's a good movie.

I had forgotten there was this unpleasant part in the movie where Noah becomes totally obsessed with wanting to kill all of humanity. To the point of killing his newborn granddaughters.
I really really really did not want to see that again, so I skipped quite the chunk of the movie.
The pain & stress he puts the entire family through, especially the expecting mother. Must've been a wonderful pregnancy.
In utero stress causes all kinds of problems for the child later on so I don't get why they couldn't come up with a different way of going about it.
Because of that I rate it a 4 or 5 while it started out as a 9 for me. But that part ruined the entire movie (for me).
IMdB ratings aren't high either, 5,8.

IMDb gives this a 6.8 however I give this a solid 8.. acting was superb with a solid story line with a few added twists..
I thought I'd give Desert Dawn a shot because of what TxGal said, but I didn't like it. Switched it off after 5 minutes or sooner. Really bad acting. It has a IMdB rating of 3,7 and I totally get why.
But it made me think of The Last Stand with Arnold Schwarzenegger and Forest Whittaker and I watched that :)
So something good came out of it for me.

Movie on the 2004 Asian tsunami. Based on a true story. A family, hubby & wife & 3 sons, are on holiday in Thailand when they get taken by surprise when the tsunami hits.
It's an accurate representation of what happened to them as the movie was monitored closely by the woman of said family.
I must admit I had no idea what it was like. The footage I saw at the time made it look like rather low waves that came far inland.
But here you see a huge wave hit out of the blue and instantly wreak tremendous havoc.
The family was right near the beach and thus got the full whack of the wave, and another one after that.
The woman required 16 surgeries afterwards?!?! Unfreaking-believable!
