Well I'm sure glad it is only part of that tree.. Those prices would take me down for sure.. Heck I only paid $100 to have the one out by the street that was about 15 ft tall cut down, it was dead no branches left. That was a little over a year ago. This part that fell is abuot12 ft long and just a few branches.. Which I'm hoping I can get those cut off and will only need the bigger part cut maybe in 3 places in order to get it out to the street for pickup.. Guess we will see it has been raining here this morning a bit..

Last time when the bigger piece fell I cut it up tied rope to it and used the hitch on my riding lawn mower by tying rope to it and the tree and then dragged it out to the street with my mower

Well it has been a busy morning. Got all of the branches on the tree cut off and moved to the street.. My little Chain saw battery decided it was not gonna charge anymore so just hand branch cutters.. Got all the stuff around what was left picked up in the trash bin.. Now just need to get someone to cut up the tree... so it can be moved to the curb or wood pile..

Came in finished laundry all hung and put away..

Humm I smell dinner have some Bacon Wrapped Jalp Poppers in the Air Fryer..

Maybe I'll catch someone later for I hear my recliner calling me.. I'm give out... this old body ain't as young as it use to be..

wow.. what a day..

so here's an update for y'all.. I was adopted at a few months old.. I lived my entire life (up to recently) wondering where I fit in cuz I sure didn't feel like I fit in anywhere.. turns out, after doing a DNA test, I have over 21,000 relatives.. that's about the range of emotions I went thru.. in that order.. and today I added cuz for the first time in my life, I spoke to my legit sister.. then not long after spending 4.5 hrs on the phone with her.. I got a call from the daughter of my brother, my neice.. ends up she lives just 20 mins away from me..


suffice to say it's been one heck of a day.. quite the emotional rollercoaster.. finding out where I come from, who my family is and that both my real/blood parents passed away some years ago so I never got the chance to meet'em..

as mentioned.. I've never felt that I belonged.. my adopted family (aside from my adopted dad) were cold, kept me at arms length (when they weren't abusing me) and never really wanted me around.. today I found something that moved me to tears.. a family I never knew I had but only dreamed about having.. being welcomed with open arms.. and finding they're just as warped and nuts as I am.. it's an amazing feeling to finally find a home.. MY home..

anywho.. I'm emotionally spent so I'd like to wish everyone a wonderful evening..

Wow gf this is such great news... This journey you have been sharing, is just over the moon with so many new things you have found out around each corner...

Love it that you have been able to connect to those that have accepted you with open arms.. That alone has to be an amazing feeling....

Never think you don't belong for you do.. My heart is happy for you.. we never know what is around the corner in life till we take life by the reins and search for what we desire....

Aww it's suppose to be a nice day here getting around 77 today and sunshine..

Now if my mower that seems to have a mind of it's own starts this morning I plan on mowing.. Guess we will see...

I honestly didn't know if I had it in me to even talk to my neice.. I had agreed to a text but she was a tad over anxious and called instead.. blew my mind.. a mind that was already reeling from the emotions of the previous call..

anywho.. we talked about all kinds of stuff and well.. she said she was coming over to fix my roof and help with the deck roof told her no but she said to reach out when I was ready'n they'd be here.. they're huge animal lovers too, her hubby actually is in charge of our zoo.. go figure.. they sound amazing.. too good to be true.. but I have to learn, I guess, to put my suspicions behind me and accept that real family is there for you.. no matter what.. WOW, as you know.. this is a first for me so.. fingers crossed.. but I WILL proceed with caution lol

it's a cool, damp, rainy day here.. perfect for curling up in front of a fire reading a book or watching movies.. first tho.. gotta do some housework.. can never get away from that huh

Ohhh Wow that is so awesome and they are going to help you with your roof..I do understand not wanting the help.. Heck just have them come by for a visit.. If they bring it up let them look at it if not then just enjoy the visit..

And to find out her hubby is in charge of the Zoo. Bet he would even be amazed how the coons come up to you... It is one thing in a zoo but in the wild takes a lot of trust for animals to come up to one..

It is great that they seem to be just as excited as you are to find they have long lost family members...

Humm well cleaned up breakfast dishes, made my bed and the mower said not just no but hell no.. So walked the yard picked up a few more things..

Think I'm gonna say fug it and go chill in my recliner instead lmao..

What an amazing story from the local Pub owner...and I for one will salute her for sharing.....hope things turn out well.

Humm well went played some games on my phone listening to music.. Then decided to take me a nap..

After I woke up and got up decided that I would go try the mower again.. It turned out really nice outside and the grass dried out...

So figured I would try to start my mower.. low and behold started like a charm

So yard is mowed, also got a price on cutting up the tree for $150

Humm Slim just like a man not to read the rules.. Ya know this part of the rules on the first page..

dang mower is smarter than ya think.. wouldn't start cuz the lawn was too wet.. it dried out and the mower started YEEEha lol



wow.. so now ya see how pricey it can be just ta cut up a danged log..



pfffft.. don't tell'em that.. he'll want a refund'n that $3000 just paid for a new hot tub out back

I don't feel comfortable asking for any help from them.. I JUST met'em (on the phone) so no.. won't let'em help but will invite'em over for a "get ta know ya" visit..

yeah.. he's the director in charge of the large animals.. he takes care of the biggies.. from big cats up.. very cool.. I wanna visit behind the scenes LOL maybe pet a tiger.. wouldn't THAT be cool..

he was in the room when I was on the phone with her and mentioned the coons and lo'n behold, 3 deer trotted into my back yard while I was talking AND 2 coons came up on the deck.. she giggled and told her hubby and they both thought that was really cool..

yup.. wasn't quite expecting such an awesome welcome.. I'm hesitant still tho.. day at a time.. who knows maybe by july we'll have a bbq out back here all together.. we shall see..

Humm after looking for my weed eater string for over 30 minutes and walking by it at least 10 times I found it and decided to start weed eating.. Welp got front and backyard all done

I'm one whooped puppy.. just stopping in for a shot then off to heat up dinner and off to my recliner

Try putting in a new spark plug and air filter.
And get a can of starting fluid and spray a bit in the carb when ya go to start it.
