l have a message for all woman l have come across 4 scammers already on here. No JOKE!! l have got the mingle2 to remove them . Be very very Careful if they say they love you right off, they want money, say everything you want to hear they are a scammer. DON"T give them your phone, address, more pictures and never about you and your life and business or anything else. l got smart and went on Google type scammers sites will come up Most take a soldiers pic and change their names etc. Go to U.S military sites they will give you more information.

Look out for your self's.

Thank you for the warning. I too am very careful about who I give information. I have found that if they deflect questions and only try to change the subject - I am clued into that they are trying to scam me. I will block them immediately.

This is the third or fourth site that I have joined and they are all alike it seems. They all have scammers unfortunately.

We have to watch out for ourselves - and each other.

Unfortunately there are both. Just be aware of what you are being told. they prey on lonely people.

I also met scammers on this site..you have to be very, very careful. Sometimes they don't ask for money first but after sometime they will. Be smart:block them!

There are men aswell women out there who just can't be trusted. To bad for the good ones. There are good men and women here aswell but you have to watch and be carefull. I know from experience.

real bad, most of the people who claim to be widows and widowers are scammers, why would anyone enjoy calling himself a widower? sorry for the real widows and widowers here.And again most of them are in the army working in Afghanistan etc

Not sure how they got my email but I've been getting ones that are all titled "You don't know me" recently. They haven't been going to my junk folder, which is a bit strange because that's full of emails that I've been getting recently from ones claiming to be women looking for sex. You also sometimes get ones that tell you that they want to chat with you and to check them out on some dating site. I've had some doing that on here recently. Those ones are just spam bots that they use to get you to register on dating sites where you have to pay to message other users of the site.

I have read what you all wrote in here, let me be frank here and enlighten all of you. I want you all to know that there are scammers on every website both paid and free sites. Now, let me urge all of us who is real on this site to be very careful for we can't identify a scammer from a real person, but yes we can identify scammers in many ways we choose. When chatting with someone and you feel you want to be sure of that person, you may simply ask for that person to take a picture holding his or her name boldly written on a paper or board; you can request for a picture in bath or bed or anywhere, if the person is able to give you any kind of photo you ask for that he or she is real. Still, you can ask for the person to hold up a pen in a picture or ruler or tea-cup and more. A scammer won't be able to give you all kinds of picture because he or she is not the real person you see on profile photo. I'm I making sense to you? This is a lecture I'm giving to you so as to give you a sight on the vision of scammers. I am a journalist and I have also met with a lot of scammers in various sights and I also found out that a scammer is not always the one on the profile photo, they use other peoples photos without the rightful owners knowing. I am here to look for a real and sincere woman and if I find a scammer I will know how to deal with them. Let's all be careful and use my advise... Thanks for the advice but I don't need it because I only date local people. That's always my advice. Date locally and they can't give you any BS stories about how they need you to send them money. Worst that they can really do is jive you out of your email address or phone number. Tell them that you don't need any pictures and it's just as easy to message on here. You obviously don't know what they will be like when you meet them but meeting them is getting a date and that's the whole point of doing this.

I have been dating local as well... BUT.. I have spoken to "men" that claim that they are from my area and they do not know the city. I have lived here for about 2 years now, I may not know everything.. but I do know a good portion of the city. So a word to the wise.. just because they say they are local does not mean that they are.

Always going to be scammers on any dating site I can spot them a mile off seen few fake profiles pics from males an females I keep an eye on my friend whos on this site to shes needs to be more wary she knows not to giveaway out personal details but is to easily fooled by fake profile pics of men.

I wouldn't be able to tell if a scammer was male or female because they don't use their own picture.
