Nah, you don't need extreme faith at all. What you need to focus on, is feeling good, positive and happy. Meaning you sort of avoid things, people and situations that make you feel unhappy, negative and crappy.
The more you do that, the better you feel and then you are far more aligned with who you really are (which is a nice, happy person, not some grumpy old f@rt). And when you are more aligned, things will start to come easier and easier to you. Up to the point that you find yourself thinking "Things always seem to work out for me?!"
You just revel in feeling good and positive. And you don't beat yourself up when you have a bad hair-day. Those aren't all that bad either, cos they make clear what it is you do NOT want, making it easier to focus on what you do want.

In a nutshell you have to stop focusing on what is (unless it makes you feel really good!) and focus on how you would want it to be. And really get into how that would make you feel.

Ps.. it's a lot easier to meet people online! than it is offline in the offline world...j.s

The other day, a good-looking guy with a nice feel. Approached him, he was very interested too. We got talking. It went really well, felt good, was flirty and playful. These days I ask pretty soon how tall a man is, as it's a dealbreaker.
He was 1.80m (just an inch taller than me).
Dammit! Not the one. I really need a taller man to feel good. But I figured I could still date him (He'd mentioned that).
However ... immediately after my THOUGHT "Dammit, he's not the one for me" he withdrew. Convo went down the drain and within minutes he said he had to spent time with his kids. Shortly after he'd removed me from his contact list.

Isn't that amazing? I hadn't even said anything, yet somehow he did pick up on the vibe that something had changed. And right that very minute, second even, things changed between us. In real life, fair enough, but this even works online.

This Law of Attraction business is really incredible and can teach you a lot if you pay heed.
If you just pay heed to the types you attract, you know what you yourself put out there, what your own vibe is. They are just a reflection of that.
