my storyy is....i am from Romania i lived there for all my life but i met this great guy on the internet and came to UK but not for a serious relation with him just to find something to work and make more money to help my familyy...but it happends that we fall in love and now we are expecting a baby in january.i have to say that i feel realyy complete and loved and everything is new for me and its realy realyy good

Hmmmmm Mingle for me has changed my life..

I have met a group of wonderful people who offer support, encouragement and a good kick in the backside if I need it.

I have met my best friend and husband.

But for me it's like I gained a whole family on mingle, spread from one end of the world to the other, and although I will never meet most of the people on here who are special to me, they will always be with me.. Right here.

Thanks heaps to everyone who has argued, comforted, encouraged, loved, teased and just plain harrassed me, you have made my life a whole better place.

My story is unique, but worth sharing.

I was addicted to drugs, and wanted to quit. I had no friends, (that were not drug users) no family, no boyfriend, and was unable to attend any sort of support groups. All I did have was my dog "Boogie" and a computer, that I was very new to using.

I found Mingle2, I dont remember how, but I made my first post in the "new members" area, and said "Hey is anybody out there? Lets rock and roll", ,(some members here still remember that) Of course I got many replies, and so now I knew, there were people I could talk to, on the internet.

Then I BOLDLY made my next post called, "NO MORE METH MOUTH". I told complete strangers that I was addicted to smoking meth, and I wanted to stop that day, and did they have any suggestions. I am not kidding, I got 5, or more, pages of complete strangers, telling me, "you can do it", "you go girl", ect... I was VERY surprised, and deeply moved. I didnt realize it then, but I had found my support group.

As time went on, I kept getting emails, wanting to know if I was still clean, how I was doing, and offering support. Instead of trying to individually answer each email,(I swear, there was tons ) I started to post about my progress, every 2 weeks. I received the same reaction from the Minglers, everytime!

Long story "kinda" , short, I now have a family here at Mingle. I have been clean for 4 years, and no I will never go there again. I also found Jesus, was saved,(about 6 months later) found a church, joined the choir(im a singer), got re-baptized, and have attended church since then.

Mingle has been through alot more with me too, relationships, break-ups, breast cancer, mental health issues, and much more, and they have never left my side since that first day. I love everyone here dearly.

Now the icing on the cake. I have been talking to a man called Ujgearhead(Aaron) for three years, that I met here, and instantly became good friends with. Sometime, somehow, someway,(we're really not sure ) we fell in love with each other. He lives in PA, and I live in CA. He will be visiting me for the first time this February, and if all goes well, I will be returning to PA, to live with him. But no matter what happens, I have found a lifetime friend in Aaron, someone who "gets" my strange sense of humor, and loves me for WHO I AM, even though im not perfect.

Ive said this soooooooooooo many times, but thank you Mingle, not only for my drug recovery, my cancer survival, and Aaron, but thank you for giving me a family, that I wouldnt otherwise have. It has made my physical and mental state, ALOT better, and my life much happier. :

And thank you to my Mingle family, for helping a complete stranger get her life together, always beeing there for me, through thick and thin, putting up with me , and loving me just the way I am.

And all I am, is me.

In some of us, we just follow the crowd.
In some others, they lead and speak LAUD.
And in a few, they lay low, and stay still.
Never to voice out,, one word, of what they feel.
I came on here as me, honest, sincere, and with my will.
I couldn't spell, I couldn't type, Trying to do,, was really Hell.
For my first Month on here, no-one even knew I was on here.
I changed my Pic, and looked like a bad-boy kind of guy.
THEN, EVERYONE saw me,,and read what I had to say, or imply.
I stuck-up for the timid, and put bad guys in their place.
Yelling and CUSSING, to stop them from fussing.
We didn't have a Moderator back then, so I always stuck my nose in.
Hell I did that all through School, helping to keep their rule.
We've grown 1000 times larger, and went World wide.
Now its even harder to be seen, or easier to hide.
Being on here over five years,seeing so much sadness, so many tears.
Enjoying all the good times,and lovers getting engaged.
So many strangers becoming Best of friends, on every page.
This place they call Mingle2, can get its grips on you.
I have not found my one and only, but I don't live feeling lonely.
YOU FOLKS make my days and nights fly by, all so sly.
So many hearts reaching out,,so many pants wanting to come off.
THIS is where kids, grow-up, and grown-ups come, to feel like kids.
Some lives shall meet and change forever, some will never see ever.
ALL will have that happiness inside, that we share here World Wide.
All the laughing, all the jokes,,and those little hugs and pokes.
From Emails, IM'ing, Searches, and Match,, Its all in Timing.
That one special minute, when YOUR ONE, is right here to see..
AS YOU START READING ALL ABOUT THEM,,AND TELLING THEM HELLO.
They may be just like you, or they may be opposites so true.
But your have this happen,,time and time again, as you begin.
Until that one day,,when that ONE PERSON, STOPS AND LOOKS YOUR WAY!
As you and them start talking, your hearts will start locking.
SOON both of you will be together, kissing,holding hands and walking
Your take that risk of chance, to you give them, more than a glance
Because they sound FANTASTIC, YOUR HAVE TO MEET THEM OR GO SPASTIC.
Maybe your BOTH find real LOVE, Or feel a bit like unmatched gloves
Hear wedding bells,do that walk, or feel it Hell, and end the talks
But you TRIED TO MAKE IT MORE, YOU HAD THE GUTS TO GO EXPLORE.
EVEN IF YOU BOTH FEEL THEN THAT YOU FAILED, YOU LIVED, and EXHALED.
I remain on here a Friend to all,,and HERE, to answer every CALL!
PLEASE, experience that walk with your closest friend.
Because life is short, and we ALL want freinds, we can DEPEND,
So even IF LOVE IS'NT FOUND,YOU can still stay here, looking around
