They're looking for sex and pretty much nothing else. I think and it's best to avoid them like the plague!

I thought that activity partner meant someone to do things with - casual dating.
I consider it to be different from Intimate Encounters - sex.

Activity partner is ACTIVE sex

I thought they wanted some one to like do an activity like going to the gym,riding bikes together,someone to do stuff with them which would yes include sex at some point
It's someone you can date without claiming you're "dating"
Someone whose activity level is above the norm, in time and expense.
When I've seen "activity partner" in profiles, the habits/interests of the lady include climbing mountains (Serious climbs...like 3 days), sailing boats (2-7 day trips), Orient travel around the Pacific Rim, etc.
If the person lists high energy exercise on their profile it means they are looking for someone to run a marathon,ride a bike across state,pump iron with.
If they don't list anything on their profile like that then they want no strings attached booty.
Someone to do things with.
In a non-sexual way.
