Saw Papa Roach last week, I agree, they were excellent

Thats a tuff one,used to jam with allman brothers and they were great same goes for pat travers and reo speedwagon both of which ive done shows with amoung others but would have to say best ive ever heard as far as live music would have to be Boston.

for sure dream theater...see the show and you will agree...hands down...they are awesome possum.

Based on live shows, there are two that rank way up there.

1. Marilyn Manson: Love or hate him, but this guy puts on a show, as does his bandmates. I swear, he had the whole arena shaking when he shouted "How does it feel, being one of the beautiful people?". The place went absolutely nuts. He isn't the best singer, but that man knows how to perform.

2. KISS: And this was their reunion tour in 1999, with all four original members back. I don't feel their is a band that matches their intensity on stage, or their desire to give the fans the best show possible. And until you see "God Of Thunder" and "Rock N' Roll All Nite" performed live, you have not lived.

Queensryche: Operation Mindcrime was truly amazing to see, and I saw this back when the album was fresh (early 1989). One of the best Seattle bands that never gets credit for how good they are.

George Michael: Go ahead..laugh. I got a free ticket to see his "Faith" tour show in New Orleans, and all I can say is that he was amazing. He never stopped once the show began. His song "Monkey" had everybody dancing. It was crazy.

Def Leppard: Freaking Def Leppard. Nuff said.

AC/DC: Heatseeker tour was utterly awesome.

Bon Jovi: I know people who saw the Brotherhood tour in 1989 and say it was the best show they ever saw. Richie Sambora is an amazing guitarist.

Best concert for me was the Allman Brothers..I was pretty young, but it left a lasting impression on me...they were phenomanal!!.. to say the least...

Rikki Lee Jones,, a little mellow, but her voice just sends me...

Kid Rock has been the best so far..He never stops!

i was at Warped this past summer. the best two bands there were def Anti-Flag and Less Than Jake... i also saw August Burns Red a few years ago, they were really good

I just seen them in May. That was a GREAT show too! Can't remember the name of the new album though, but it had something to do with our troops.

Sonic Youth at The Trocadero in South Philly in 90' or 91'. The Goo Tour. Best band on the planet!

Geoff Tate's voice is amazing! He can go from low key to high pitch and it sounds good.

Recently saw Mission Of Burma! God...it was great!

I haven't seen a ton of bands, but the ones I've seen - well, some sound good live, others should stick to studio work.

Aerosmith was the worst. Didn't even sound like them.

I saw Krokus while I was in Germany at a little bar, with only about 100 people in the audience. Didn't even know they were going to be there.

I think their big hit was "Screamin' in the Night." A real 80's heavy metal hair-band. They had a few others, that I only recognized while they were playing.

They sounded great. If I wasn't standing 10ft away from them, I would have thought they were lip-synching.

Motley Crue was also pretty good, live.
