I was actually on that dating site. In four months, only had 4 responses. In order to actually talk, I had to pay for the site. Then I paid, had the site list that someone made contact, and yet I still could not respond...

Because I'm blind there, I really don't know what to make of it. I think the site hasn't caught on in CT, so I'm being viewed by women in MA and NY....and the distance is a turn off.

I get emails from women. For some reason they always have a hard time using the im on here so they wont me to chat with them on Yahoolaugh

We live in modern times. Women are educated, career-minded, independent and in charge of their lives.

It’s not 1870! Yes, women should take control of their love lives as well and politely approach someone of interest; otherwise, they are allowing men (or women) to control their potential destiny.

It’s human nature to try, fail, succeed, learn and move forward. I believe this encompasses all areas of our existence.

Some men are intimidated by strong, ambitious women, therefore, not all men will respond in kind to a woman pursuing them. That’s ok though! There is someone for everyone. :thumbsup:



It all began with women's lib a long time ago, ( may be giving away my age,BUT,). My upbringing said that women were not supposed to be that upfront. This generation says it is ok and kudos to those that don't mind being the first. I think it just depends on the situation and the level of comfort she feels doing so. And, some women still think that way today(waiting for the man to make the first move). Nothing wrong with it I guess.

They actually have at least one dating webiste dedicated to this, h e r way.com The guys can;t see the womens profile suntil the women message them or "wink at then.
I may be old fashioned, But I might send a messgae to someone saying "Hi" SO they might get the clue I;m interested.


I think old fashion chicks are hot in thier corsettes and pumps with a beehive hairdo and garter belt. Throw on some horn rimmed glasses and YOWZAAAAAA!!!!!
