I know it is all about opinions, but Westlife, a band. A band play their own instruments, surely!!

I would certainly put them in my top three and Queen were accused of copying them when they first started. Achilles last stand is my favourite

No It was just the media doing their usual thing. The music sounds nothing like each other, maybe the pretentious lyrics might have influenced Freddie but I would argue that's all. They were more influenced by Clapton, Hendrix, Cream and the Beatles

Lookfun78, good one.

Head is spinning. I grew up in the '80s, and I can't get two songs out of my head.

Too Fast For Love and
Shout At The Devil

VH killed it!!!!

VH is totally unique with a very definitive sound that only belongs to them. Eddie is definitely up there with Hendrix and Satriani. Michael Anthony is too often overlooked

another band that gets my vote is The Steve Miller Band...when you consider his output and consistent quality over decades...and it is prolly the best concert I've seen...

You forgot Steve Vai! Should we start a Sammy Hagar V Dave lee roth debate? Must say though hot for teacher video is a classic
Talking about unique sounds Queen have to be somewhere up at the top!
