For any Aussies out there my favorite Rock band is an Aussie rock band Cold chisel, AC/DC
However I do like DEEP PURPLE, led zepplin, black Sabbath, kiss and metallica

MY favourite band of this century are Mastodon. I have all their stuff they are awesome. Got their new album on release date this week, it didn't let me down.They have a unique sound and are obviously very talented musicians, especially the drummer.

I am going to say Rise Against is the best band in the present days(meaning they are still making new music) but over all I would have to give it to AC DC.

Iron Maiden

I saw Maiden in 1983 at Sheffield City Hall and they were very dissapointing. They have a formula and they stick to it. I got tired of them years ago. shame really their early stuff was awesome!!
