the industry here is movies, of which she has little to do with
Yep..it must kill her. She wasn't even invited. If she would of been it would say 'Mr Will Smith & Guest'
-------------------------
her industry is more of television/cable, with series like hawthorne and gotham
Glad you looked it up..lol
Sure. For now she is.
How do you think..or I should say. WHO do you think got her those gigs? It could not of been on her merit... More like her hen pecking.
------------------
so all the character assassinations in the world or insults about her career
The b@tch can't act. She should of paid something to design a shoe for her & brought the patten & stuck her name on it, like everyone else who can't cut it.
She sabotaged herself running her mouth.
-------------------
change the validity of her concern,,, being family to and probably friends with many who continue to be slighted by the MOVIE Industry
Well hubby, certainly doesn't need help & her kids need psychiatric help & perhaps a deprogrammer & an exorcism.
She WAS ' Will Smith's wife'.
She had no real fame or identity or power on her own. She could walk down the street & no one would know.
THAT'S what her problem WAS. .. She was also a great, candidate to hire to start some social sh@t across the country. In that she played her role well.
Don't be deceived into thinking she is some activist/ martyr, & worried about anyone but herself.
Do you really think, with all the black actors, actresses, singers, athletes, politicians, businessmen etc.. That can't get together & make more movies that have roles for (11-16% of the pop. to pay to see? ) black actors? Who is slighting who? Who is forgetting where they came from? Who is selling who out?
Welcome to Hollywood
ad hominem specialists,,,
oscarssowhite is not about creating more roles, it was about acknowledging the roles that were already PLAYED,, and should have been acknowledged
and 'whitewashing' is about minorities seeking work in roles that are ABOUT minorities and having those roles instead be cast by non minorities
that's the complaint with 'whitewashing',,,,its not about whether specific roles are made specifically for minorities, it was about characters that are written as minority being cast by non minorities
