Exactly, people think that because we see them acting on T.V. that we actually give a s*** what they think about politics. And other people just think of themselves as self important.. again missing the point, that their departure would be notice by... nobody ( other then their family).

America never had a problem with people leaving, just the opposite.. we have a problem with too many wanting to come in.

So, give up your citizenship.. and get out.. go to greener pastures... bye, bye.

For what it is worth:

We ( America) have fought in many wars.. some not always popular. I, for one have (USMC).. have, as have many, many others on this site.

One thing was a certain.. we did not pack up and run when the times got tough.. we fought for what we believe in. We fought for our way of life.

Others decided not to and they fled to Canada.

The ironic thing about that is.. they now want to come back.. to America.. the country they turned their back on. And America ( rightfully so ) says... no

If you do not like the political system.. you stay and fight.. cowards flee.

And if you flee ... there is no return

as I said, its not required that people stay in one certain place to make change , nor are they turning their backs on anything if they move locations

Lol..trust me..I am a Johnny fan...I will give the wife and kids the credit for his love...but he did say he would stay in France claiming America is dumb...not his exact words but he hated the Bush administration...said he would return if a democrat gets elected...he supposedly came back because of some tax deal in France...but I don't know the details...at least he did leave like he said he would...but he didn't lose anything for doing it...I just think if the stars want to play they should follow through..go..but don't still let the American people line their pockets...keep their movies, books and any other money making means out of America as well as their human carcass...jmo...flowerforyou

Ho do you fight???? by getting involved with what you think is wrong and making changes happen. voting for who you feel will lead.

Better yet.. you lead.. run for office.. start small and work up. Do something about the things you don't like.. other then just talking about it.. actually do something. Talk is cheap.

Or you could just leave, but your not going anywhere.. are you? not going to give up anything that you have here in the U.S... neither is Uncle Al.

And BTW.. If you do leave and you don't renounce your citizenship.. you WILL still pay taxes to the U.S... kind of defeats the purpose.. doesn't it. ;)


fortunately, one does not have to RESIDE In America to do any of those things'
