My ex girlfriend called me Mack Daddy Long Strokin......I didn't mind the pet name, but man....some guys would be crying about sexual harassment. :tongue:

Pet names are uncomfortable but comforting at the same time. I've never said them but I got used to hearing them.

We live in 2016 .. I'm stunned that many men think it's okay to address a woman for the very first time by "sweetie, honey, angel, baby, baby girl, sugar, sexy"... Those are terms that should be reserved for a much closer/intimate relationship

I agree with you. When I get a first email with "hello sweetheart" or something like it, I stop reading. It is a big turnoff for me.

Well let the guy know that at first so he is aware, some guys do it because they think its flattering... not all guys are dating masters.. when you realize that it wouldnt be such a turn off, its more important traits then to let a a word such as "sweetie" turn you off.. makes no sense, go easy on these guys gosh!! $

I have been using those terms for quite awhile now....and the women seem to like it...well, they have not slapped me on the head, so I guess,its a chance you take.....Know the woman before you say it to a newbie, just saying....

..yeah..terms of endearment should be after you know each other...but a lot of men don't mean to insult...but my most hated words are when women refer to their mate as "daddy"....that's just gross...imo flowerforyou
