btw, its an interesting coincidence, that the lower homicide levels were in the 60s and 70's prior to the reform in laws accompanying the 'war on drugs',,,

perhaps the war did more harm than the drugs?


perhaps you should look up shootings in Chicago, since last year was the highest ever with over 4000...


why should I look it up> its agreed that violent trends go up and AND down over time,,,

Okay, Okay, I'm bring you what I researched on Trump being here in Philly today. I got a list of Trumps "Executive Orders" he wants to put in affect.

1- Authorization of a U.S. Mexican border wall, stripping money to sanctuary cities 5,000 more border patrol agents ending " Catch & Release".

2- Revving the Keystone XL pipeline & Dakota Access pipeline expedite the envoirmental permitting process for infrastructure projects related to the pipelines.

3- Mexico City policy to ban on federal funds to international groups that perform abortions or lobby to legalize or promote abortion.

4- A Notice withdrawing from the Trans Pacific Partnership trade deal.

5- Hiring freeze for some federal government workers as a way to shrink the size of government excludes the military.

6- Directs federal agencies to ease the " Regulatory Burdens" of " ObamaCare" waive, defer, grant exemptions from or delay the implantation of any provision or requirement of ObamaCare fiscal burden on any state.

My Rant,
Now I gave you the reasons people are out on the street angry right now. Here's the kicker, the biggest anger of protesters are women. Women are pissed due to he wants to cut the cost of "Planned Parenthood". Some of you Trump supporters want to dance around the examples I gave of the wrong he will due! The only ones who will not feel the squeeze is the wealthy. Poor & working class people will feel this to the fullest. What's great about the executive orders I gave you. Now " Ms. Harmony" did give me vital data, okay, he made Chicago crime drop, that's a good thing, but nobody wants to talk about it this " Coochie Grabbing". On that note people, a lot of people disrespect women everyday, in various ways. As long as it in the neighborhoods its okay, but when its under the microscope corporate business then people trip. The point I'm making is Trump is no different then any male pig that's at a bar drinking beers, talking about the ta-ta's on that nice stripper & how you give it to her if you could. So America stop the madness, Trump supporters think again on his agenda. This term won't be a piece of cake.

Honestly I just wish more would actually educate themselves on what the President can and can not do.. No President can just put Laws in without the House and the Senate to back him.. and the correct steps in order to add/change a Law...

Many things that some are yelling about he does not even have the control to do what they are Protesting about...

Impeach Trump for what???

As far as his views on Abortion sorry but he can have all the views he wants to Abortion is determined on a State by State Level...


Humm Putin and Trump??? Where is the proof he is in Putin's back pocket??

I think too many are jumping the gun and causing a frenzy where it is not needed... At least give the man a chance and see if he screws up before everyone thinks what he might do that will not even happen...

Everyone deserves the chance once the People have Voted them in~~~




I pretty much agree with this.

My opinion of Trump has only become worse, the more I've seen of him, and I think he has a number of serious problems, as a person and as a President. But so far, none of those problems rises to the level of impeachable offenses.

I find him incompetent, unnecessarily abrasive, an abject, and possibly even compulsive liar (yes, even worse than Hillary Clinton, for you fans of hating her), destructive of American values in general, and I am already seeing that he is offending close allies and infuriating competitive nations unnecessarily.

There is apparently plenty of evidence that Putin wanted Trump elected, but no evidence so far, that Trump actively conspired with Putin.

Trump lies about pretty much everything, including things that don't even matter (such as how many people attended his Inauguration...who cares? But he insists on lying about it). He has signed a few Executive orders, which may or may not accomplish anything he seems to think they will (telling law enforcement people to "do whatever you can to avoid penalizing people" doesn't change the law, it just confuses the people receiving the directive, and pleases all of his followers who are even LESS knowledgeable about how the American government works.

there was a misunderstading, the data did not indicate TRump made crime in chicago go Down,, the data indicated that crime in chicago has had peaks and valleys for decades,,, to illustrate that a peak can then DECLINE without military intervention

I dont recall the national guard being called in 1971 after a four straight year spike,, or in 1974 after 970 homicides and 3 years of spiking rates, or in 1992 after a four year spike,

instead it seems like the rate has gone up and down, without military intervention,,,

so instead, it would be significant to know the measures that WERE taken,,,,in 75, 82, 95, and 2004, when we saw rates take a dip...




O.K. , Well get Nixon on the phone and lets talk about 1970.. we are talking about.. now

And the crime rate in Chicago is totally out of control. That is no secrete. So trying to deflect to 40 years ago doesn't fly.

the point is not about deflection, the point is about the FACT tat

this is not the first time CHicago has seen these types of numbers, and yet they didnt just KEEP rising, they declined,, without military intervention




I see so this is just a normal fade for Chicago.. Nothing to blink a eye about.. nothing out of the ordinary.

Tell that to the mothers of the ones murdered.

It is out of the ordinary to the point of making the news most every week.. because it is shocking... to the point of getting the attention of every news station.. and the Presidents , yes Obama too.. but he did nothing about it.

Ya got too many thugs there.. armed with stolen weapons.. killing people... but its just a normal wave.. it will lower... sometime... right?

you know my friend it was a crazy day in our city where Trump arrival. I'm tell you women was the most heated. Fellas, lets put our selves in there shoes for a minute, the arrogant P.- Grabbing comment was out of line. you basically saying its okay to violate a woman if you rich & have some power. that's wrong in some many levels. now if that wasn't bad enough he was talking of cutting planned parenthood. Okay, as a man it probably won't mean much to us but a woman, check this out, she would be outraged, " How dare he cut what's needed." " He can't tell me what to do with my body" so yeah I'm glad he on his Mary way back to DC.

What if the powers to be that controlling Trump strings really want Mike Pence to take over, & hope something bad happens to him in a "Manchurian Candidate" type of taking out & Mike would need to take over. They like him so much , they asked him in the past but Mike declined. that would be a crazy way of putting who we want in the presidential seat.
