btw, its an interesting coincidence, that the lower homicide levels were in the 60s and 70's prior to the reform in laws accompanying the 'war on drugs',,,

perhaps you should look up shootings in Chicago, since last year was the highest ever with over 4000...

why should I look it up> its agreed that violent trends go up and AND down over time,,,

I posted the facts that crime and violence have ALWAYS reached peaks and then declined,, without the military being called in

And isn't that what a President does... issues orders.. isn't that what a leader is supposed to do?

Is he somehow violating is office.. his authority?

I know you right. He's Becoming a dictator, I got a deeper answer, okay hear me on this. What if the powers to be that controlling Trump strings really want Mike Pence to take over, & hope something bad happens to him in a "Manchurian Candidate" type of taking out & Mike would need to take over. They like him so much , they asked him in the past but Mike declined. that would be a crazy way of putting who we want in the presidential seat.

He ran for office promising to address the issues which he is now addressing. This is the reason he IS President.. because that is what the people.. want, may not be you, but that's the way it goes.

he said a bit of everything, kind of covered every possible scenario in regards to what he would do

I say yet because I do expect him to have violations like he did throughout his real estate career

considering his BUSINESS Connections around the world, many of those resources for lining his pocket have the potential to violate ethics if he continues certain relationships during his Presidency

I hope he wont, but thats like hoping Putin legalizes gay marriage

his campaign had many dictator like promises too,,,do what he decides to do, damn anyone else,, kind of dictatorship

... I am giving President Trump a chance.. I don't agree with a lot of what he does..but I can say what I am going through right now...I will never be a democrat..they have infected us with their knowledge of what is best for our families and society that I doubt we will get over the damage..as far as impeachment.. for what.?..all the people stomping their feet are like dogs chasing their tails... I will respect the President and I hope he does a great job..although with all the fake news about all of them...it's so bad...we have no idea what's really going on... ohwell

CORRECT: But pretty easy when what you 'say' you are gonna do was constantly changing

he was VOTED in as our president

CORRECT: The electoral college voted him in, the citizen population did not

both the above is why he has no reason to be impeached, yet'

but have nothing to do with him being a dictator in the making

I will not be a republican based upon the actions and words of the modern day republican party figure heads

I also do not trust Trump to care about anything or anyone he hasn't cared about in the last 7O years of his extremely privileged life,,,,

but I trust the Governments check and balances will keep some of his divisive ideas at bay. flowerforyou

It's such a dark phenomenon this predicting a Prump failure thing and I remember thinking the same when Obama won his first term.

It's so dark and toxic to keep predicting someones failure.

I have news for America, you cannot afford anyone else than Prump in office right now, he got voted in because things wasn't working, point finale, the math just wasn't working.

Yea, It happened 8 years ago too with Obama, not sure who got it worse though, just have to see how it plays out.

..this is something I see as well... I respected Obama as President and even when I did not agree with a lot of what he felt was in our country's best interest.. I never wished any ill fate on him or his family...President Trump may not have the most flattering mannerisms...but I was raised by a dad that would make Trump blush...he would say things in public that sounded vulgar or racist... I would just die of embarrassment sometimes..but my dad helped and loved everyone...I think a lot of Trumps comments and actions are twisted out of context..and then over exaggerated by the haters..when he used the p word in a private conversation with another man referring to how easy some women are in the entertainment industry he was simply stating a fact..a lot of those women will let a wealthy man do what ever they want..and it was what he believed a comment to a male friend..now the word is plastered everywhere...women are dressing their little girls in cat ears and T shirts sayin don't touch my P***y...disgusting in my opinion...as far as all these people wanting the President to fail...talk about silly... frustrated

he got voted in for many reasons, every time a different partys candidate gets in its because things 'arent' working' with the other

same old same old

except one of a few rare times where the POPULAR and the electoral didnt have matching opinions,,,,

nevertheless

prediction is all we have, or they wouldnt spend millions on campaigns

we predict which 'promises' will or wont be kept and how a candidate will or wont fair in office,, it fuels our choice at the polls

in fact, I find it hypocritical when people say all these negative things about a candidate when they run against them and then pretend when they win all of a sudden that they believe they will be great

nonsense

they either lied before the candidate was elected or are lying after

I respect consistency

to HOPE and to PREDICT are different things

I HOPE America does well, regardless of the person in the White HOUSE

based upon his past life and behavior, I dont predict he will help anyone but himself, which is what contributed to him NOT getting my vote,, and I dont suddenly believe otherwise just because he won

but I will continue hoping

Good Day M2, I want to think you guys for making my last 2 forums mega hits, see this is my niche controversy. Shots out again to my loyal " Vocal Avengers" as well as my new voicers, they know who they are. Okay, lets get right to business, once again I want to start this one by explaining my view on I say impeach? okay, Donald Trump is sworn in now, & he's our now president, lets do a run down, the few days he's been in office, well lets see, the national woman rally voiced how angry of his views on abortion. Him & Russian President Putin been doing some crazy " I got something on you trump type conversing going on. overseas countries are ready to pull away from this country for obvious reasons, & lets not forget he's signing executive orders that's the powers that be are feeling like he's messing the nature order of things. What the heck do Putin has on this man? Lets talk about it, Do you think he's worth 4 years or 4 months then impeachment? Let's do it!

He hasn't committed an impeachable offense. You need an overwhelming support of both the House and the Senate to impeach a President and let me remind uou the House and the Senate are both controlled by Republicans and the 18 Senate Seats up for re-election in 2018 are all in states President Trump won by wide margins.

If the Democrats keep the attitude of trying to block everything President Trump does, it will cost them in the end. President Trump has already done a lot for America, even before taking office. He saved and created thousands of jobs, prevented companies from going over seas. He is truly shaping up to be a fantastic President.

Okay, Time for my weekly rant, here we go, America, I know some of you see trump is your man & believe he could do more for this country than Barak or Bush ever could. I respect your loyalty. I talk to a lot of different type of folks some for trump, others say he's F'ing up already. I admit, you have to give a president a chance. Some said the something about Regan during the 80's, Oh he put a end the war on drugs. Some say the same thing about Bush SR. He defend the interest for the wealthy & go after Terrorist. They said say the same thing About Clinton, he toughen gun laws & create anti crime bill & build more prisons for the criminals. They say the same thing about Bush Jr., He coming after Bin Laden & we send Muslim Terrorist a message" Don't F. with America or you'll pay!", Barak no different & now Trump. Ask yourselves the question, do you think any president will do all the things he promised? Maybe, maybe not. I already made peace with this man in office and America I want you to focus on us. I want you to put all that energy that you have to see his downfall & lets make this country great ourselves. We will always need a government, we will always need a balance between poor & the wealthy. To be honest, I happy about it either but my man " Workin4it" made a great point, lets see. who knows he may bring jobs back to this nation. Maybe I'm wrong, we will as the people of this Fruitopia nation can make this country great again. If he gets caught with his hands in the cookie jar, then we IMPEACH!

Do I think any president will do all the things they promised?

well, that's difficult for me, because I Cannot really recall too many times a candidate has used the word 'promise'

part of the issue is that , as Txs said, Presidents are not dictators and cannot 'do' much of anything alone,, they need cooperation of hundreds of others in congress

and I don't believe any President will ever obtain that cooperation on every thing they mention in their campaigns

as to impeachment,,the constitution gives the grounds of treason, bribery and 'high crimes or misdemeanors',, so technically, the vague language gives Congress a pretty broad and unspecific brush to use,, but unless Trump pays off someone while in office or trades secrets with other governments,, I Doubt the republican congress will find anything they would describe as a 'high crime or misdemeanor' to charge him with

Im just hoping we get through the next four years without an allout war on US grounds and without too many groups seeing their rights revoked and pulled from beneath them.

Or lies under oath...........

2 points.

1. Criticizing and 'bashing' are not the same. SO long as others ask about and post about Trump, I contribute my answers and opinions.

2. Yes Lying under oath CAN be impeachable. But with 'alternate facts', I don't know how that's possible anymore...lol.

3. War on our soil or impact on rights concern me greatly because they IMPACT PEOPLES LIVES.
