I searching for true love
Nicely put; Jesus is love and He also showed how to love... Give me a chance to explain please...
Today people talk about love the feeling which turns your life upside down and makes you do crazy things and gives you uncontrollable urges and sensations... Unfortunately "feelings" are fickle and may/will fade away especially when tested by adversity.
However, I've come to believe that true love is actually an action based on a decision. True love is when someone decides to and does care for someone regardless of that person's actions or reactions. It is not dependant on what they get back from the person they love. It is a pure selfless act. Think about it, as this kind of love is driven by the loving person and does not depend on what they get in return, it will surely endure all and conquer all adversity. It is most powerful.
Now if a man and a woman decide to love each other this way and put all their effort in it, they can only gain because both will be cared for, built up and lifted. All while not even expecting anything in the first place. Even better, they will both feel satisfied that the person they love is also happy.
Today everyone is busy looking for what they can get or what they're owed, while the right thing is to look for who you can serve. In that is true happy news.
Just my very long 2 cents worth. BTW that is exactly what the Lord did, He loved us without us even deserving His love.
love is DUTY.Out of love, which is the duty placed within us to grow and devlope, we can understand as adults 'why' we say GOD is love. In short, if you are stagnated and refuse to take initiative To go forward, it is apparent that you don't know love! 'GOD'.
One thing I learned..... it's rare for love to last forever now and days..... love is temporary.......I call it( MY TEMPORARY FOREVER)
