now thats a big self aggrandizing isnt it? Who has the monopoly on TRUTH when everyone is only reading what others put out there to be read?

of course FACTS matter, but most of these political discussions are only opinions and perceptions and the cut and pasting of others opinions and perceptions ...

I agree. Unfortunately people can confuse opinion with fact, and people can perceive facts differently, and facts can be incomplete or deceptive.

Im more than glad to take a look at evidence presented to me , I look at empirical evidence not anecdotal

many people offer opinions and some of them are not based on facts.

Telling me that Trump is the most bigoted president since the 1970's is anecdotal.

your comments what he said, allegedly said isn't empirical evidence.
actions speak louder than words.

If you said to me he is a narcissistic , womanizer, serial cheater, shady businessman , tweets like he has tourettes I would agree.

Telling me he is a racist, unfit for the office etc, Im not going to agree.
he has accomplished a few things, not all that was promised but its still early and the jury is still out.

lol, she was the topic. Id have to scroll back to the original question, something about what people think about the Trump/stormy situation.

My position was I dont really care so much. for me, no position saving pastor or sunday school teacher requires a man to have a good relationship with their spouse in their personal life. I do feel its hypocritical for a cheater who is married to berate spouses who stay with cheaters.

okay...

I dont care who Trump sleeps with it has nothing to do with his duties in the Oval office.

He is a hypocrite for pointing out HiLIARY's staying with a serial cheater, when he cheated his entire adult life.

But with Trump we take the good with the bad and only God and his wife will deal with him about his affairs.

I hope Melania gets tested every six months although she doesnt have to worry about him fooling around when he is president because every thing Trump does is under a microscope, we shall see if he wants to even run for a second term.

Problem of someone in control of a country weather it be yours or ours is trust!
If they lie to there spouse and family then do you think they'll be honest to people who mean nothing? No of course not!
Plus, all you here from especially american officials is 'god bless America 'god this, god that!
God must have given him the ok to be unfaithful.

If your wife or husband was a great cook or great with the kids
Would you stay with them if they were unfaithful?
It's all about trust!

its a totally different relationship between spouses than between a person and their employers or job. So yes, they can lie to the spouse about infidelity without lying to others about their business.

It is about trust, but its also about relevance. I would keep a cook regardless of fidelity or a babysitter, but a husband has as part of his expectation in his 'job' with me is to be faithful, so that is a different situation.

Yes it's a different situation regarding a work situation but not when you're preaching ethics to your people!

Dont get me wrong, plenty of things are wrong, and noone is without sin. THat is why the type of sin needs to be RELEVANT to the job title for it to be something I consider.

A preachers job is ethics, thats one of few that I would consider all their sins as part of their job.

I never said sinning was okay. I said everyone sins and sin is not relevant to a job position.

I actually posted that sins would be relevant to the job of RELIGIOUS leaders

But unless one is a moral instructor on those levels, sins are not relevant to any other position unless they DIRECTLY relate to that position (like stealing if you work at a bank, or child abuse if you work at a school ... etc.)
