Trump has asked the kneelers to recommend friends, family, and acquaintances to be pardoned. I think it's a great idea. We really don't know kaep's story about who he feels was wronged by our county. It gives them a chance to really do something for their people. Do you think this makes Trump a good president?



another opportunist move in my opinion and probably a misunderstanding of how serious the power of pardon is. It is one power that the President has which allows him to act without any approval, which must be appealing to someone with the power obsession that Trump has (its like the opposite complete power of saying 'youre fired'.

I dont believe pardons are intended for the 'friends, family, and acquaintances' of people one is trying to mend fences with. although, in that same frame, he is granting to people who are already dead or served their time, so its mostly a 'record' type of thing.

If 5 pardons a year makes a good president, Obama's 212 in eight should make him seem phenomenal, but Im doubting thats the case.

We do know Kaep's story as well. It wasnt about how HE was personally wronged, but about how the justice system does not treat minorities equitably when it comes to valuing their life's breath.

And nowhere did I say that one side didnt do it. Again, I was specifically answering a question about RACISM and Trump. All through the explanation, I also explained that there is NATIONAL implicit Bias(which is the opposite of saying any one side has it)


Its hilarious , that because a large number of people polled says Trump is racist therefore he must be racist.

The guy has been in the public eye since the 1980's and not once, not once and if I can say it again NOT ONCE has he been accused of racism until he ran for president and came up against CNN's favourite political girl Hillary R.Clinton.

Im sure MLK's niece has spent plenty of QUALITY time to assess his character, although I cant imagine when or where.


I dont have to 'believe' anyone. I am judging with my own eyes and ears based of his own words and actions. My reality is also not based solely on news sources or internet blogs ,, but I use a BALANCE of my own perceptions and outside sources to read between the lines for what is most LIKELY based on past life experience with human beings.

He picked one of MANY things he could do, and it worked based on how much people are talking about it. I've answered whatever question was posed. the difference between racist and prejudice is like the difference between an apple and fruit, Racism is one TYPE of prejudice, people can have more than one.

I believe he is as racist as most Americans who learn that type of implicit bias from media and education and cultural norms. I don't hate him or anyone else for that matter. I don't believe he knows enough of anyone besides rich white men and their wives to have built 'hate' for anyone. But I believe he takes the opportunity to play on the racism of a subset of his constituents to continue receiving their support.

I dont base who I like or dont like on what their label is in politics. Democrats dont all think alike any more than republicans do. but ask me about how an INDIVIDUAL in either of those groups has acted and what they have said, and you will get an answer about that INDIVIDUAL and what I observe of them SPECIFICALLY.

I dont hate Trump nor Hilary. Hilary was vastly more qualified for the job though and definitely more knowledgable of what it consists of and what the responsibilities and guidelines of the role were. I could no more vote for Trump than I could Farrakhan, because of the types of bias they show, not because I hate either. A POTUS should reflect representation and a minimum of understanding of all demographics, which is hard to do when making the statements he makes about so many (mexicans, muslims, women, blacks, africans ...etc....)

I call nonsense on this argument. Football is already being forced to include 'politics' by MANDATING displays of patriotism before the game.

Obviously the problem is not 'ruining' football with politics. the issue is who's politics get to be promoted and who's gets silenced.

another opportunist move in my opinion and probably a misunderstanding of how serious the power of pardon is. It is one power that the President has which allows him to act without any approval, which must be appealing to someone with the power obsession that Trump has (its like the opposite complete power of saying 'youre fired'.

I dont believe pardons are intended for the 'friends, family, and acquaintances' of people one is trying to mend fences with. although, in that same frame, he is granting to people who are already dead or served their time, so its mostly a 'record' type of thing.

If 5 pardons a year makes a good president, Obama's 212 in eight should make him seem phenomenal, but Im doubting thats the case.

We do know Kaep's story as well. It wasnt about how HE was personally wronged, but about how the justice system does not treat minorities equitably when it comes to valuing their life's breath.


This stand wasn't because I feel like I'm being put down in any kind of way. This is because I'm seeing things happen to people that don't have a voice: people that don't have a platform to talk and have their voices heard and affect change. So I'm in the position where I can do that, and I'm going to do that for people that can't.

why do some people think this guy kapperneck is some kind of a savior or something. Agree with his position or not , he picked the laziest thing he could do to put focus on alledged police brutality . He kneels , big deal, why doesn't he form some kind of panel to discuss his opinion or whatever, imagine if Dr. King had knelt down on the national anthem. Thank god he did something that sparked insight and support for his cause . As for kappernick. I think his reason for his antics were to Spotlight his self because he wasn't getting it while sitting on the bench. I believe he is as racist as most Americans who learn that type of implicit bias from media and education and cultural norms. I don't hate him or anyone else for that matter. I don't believe he knows enough of anyone besides rich white men and their wives to have built 'hate' for anyone. But I believe he takes the opportunity to play on the racism of a subset of his constituents to continue receiving their support.

I dont base who I like or dont like on what their label is in politics. Democrats dont all think alike any more than republicans do. but ask me about how an INDIVIDUAL in either of those groups has acted and what they have said, and you will get an answer about that INDIVIDUAL and what I observe of them SPECIFICALLY.

I dont hate Trump nor Hilary. Hilary was vastly more qualified for the job though and definitely more knowledgable of what it consists of and what the responsibilities and guidelines of the role were. I could no more vote for Trump than I could Farrakhan, because of the types of bias they show, not because I hate either. A POTUS should reflect representation and a minimum of understanding of all demographics, which is hard to do when making the statements he makes about so many (mexicans, muslims, women, blacks, africans ...etc....)

You haven't laid out any evidence that he is a racist, you've laid out he has discriminated early on in his real estate career, I acknowledge that.

He has some discriminatory record at a couple of his Casino's, I dont know all the facts but from what Ive read it happened although he wasn't running the day to day operation but it was his casino.

He said some dumb things about Mexicans he should have said the criminal element of illegals like MS 13.

He has said some nasty things about Rosie O Donnell and Megan Kelly.

As in for the NFL I think he has a Machiavellian agenda with that one, I think he is trying to get back at the NFL for not allowing him to own a franchise, as Trump tried to buy a franchise and was denied.

By the way politics have always entered the NFL, they are full of **** the NFL, they caused a lot of problem and I hope one day they fail.

it seems like he is being excused quite a bit for racist statements though and I dont recall Obama ever proposing to BAN muslims from entering the US period, or saying mexicans are sending over rapists, ,, so I dont seen the similarity.

but its the semantics between saying someone is guilty of racist things and saying someone is a racist .... I definitely believe Trump says and does racist things, and that he plays on RACISM against several groups to garner support

whether that is enough to call him a racist is up to an individuals perception of what a racist is, I guess.
