Immigration and asylum are legal options. they both have processes that work. they have people who are PAID to know the rules and laws and give the INTERVIEWS to determine who is approved or not.

I dont have, nor does anyone here have, access to every interview or what the status of those interviews are so far, if official interviews (determination is not made by press reporters with microphones) have even begun.

But I am confident, the process will work as it ALWAYS has, with those people who pass interview requirements receiving approval and those who dont, not.

I dont understand the connection between murder and rape, at least as it pertains to USA where we havent seen a connection with asylum seekers.

That murder and rape thing is exclusive to muslim immigrants. You'll know when you let more of them in. (of course not all muslims, but we don't have similar problems with immigrants from other parts of the world. I don't think it's a religious thing, even though I call it a Muslim thing. It's in their culture. Where gay men are thrown from tall buildings, where rape victims get stoned and thieves get their hands cut off.)

The other problem of males coming is a matter of economics. In the USA, at least there is a priority to keep families together, so no one else has to 'pay for their kids'. Thats the sad reality of our priorities. and so with that monetary bottom line it makes little sense for women to come with children by themselves, and then have to figure out financial survival as a single parent once they arrive.

I guess there is some differences how you do it and how us Europeans do it. In Europe they get paid as long as they stay here and wait for their asylum. If and when the asylum is granted then the rest of the family comes over.

I think its best to have that balance of helping people how and when we can, which is sometimes permitting them safe haven in a different location and sometimes engaging in policies and action that can make their location a safer haven.

I prefer that my country help them where they are rather than supporting human trafficking. It's much cheaper too. So, for the same money we can help many more. Just think about it, there are about 60 million refugees in the world. Is it justified to help only a million and let the rest just starve and die? To me the asylum system has so many drawbacks that we have to look for other solutions. You know, the asylum idea was created in another time when trafficking across the world was not possible or extremely difficult. It might be a good idea then, but not anymore.

I still feel like we need to help with asylum, which with our processes really doesn't allow much for the trafficking to become an issue. I don't think we can help everyone everywhere, which is why its important that we globally and collectively try to do what we can. Just like feeding my children is not a choice to 'let' other people starve. or giving a homeless person a buck isn't a choice to 'let' other homeless starve, it is not good enough to me to say that because we cant help everyone, there is no value in helping some.
